released by the Marlins....drafted by the Marlins in the same line in his history.

I search for him and it shows him on "no team"

Did I get him or no?

If it released him immediately, you didn't have room on your roster.

I had numerous open spots on my roster as well he was my first rule 5 pick and a guy picked after him is still on my roster?

Anyway to fix that and put him on my roster?

Like trade out the guy that was picked after him or something?

just looking over our payrolls, as crazy as 35 mil sounds, that would be reasonable with some of the payrolls teams have. Not 1 single team is under 100 million, which in the MLB is crazy.

in fact only 12 MLB teams have over 100M payrolls and all 20 of ours have 100+

I did quick math, there is 2.89 billion dollars in total for all teams. Let's see what the avg salary would be for a 25 man team (cause extra players would prolly be 440k salaries)..

25 x 20 = 500

2.89 billion divided by 500 = 5.78 MILLION!/player

thats insane. Thats wayyy above the MLB norm, take into account how ever team in this league is half filled with 660k salaries, that number should be an average of almost 10 mil / player, so the best in the league asking for $35 million actually makes sense.

If you have a 200 million dollar payroll, u can sign 7 dudes at 20 mil each, for 140 mil, and spend the final 60 mil signing 18 guys (3/each) with the small contracts. thats fucking nuts.

So spend your money folks

also just a thought, by looking at the schedule we're gonna do one huge FA thing? Why not, if possible, sim like 2 times tomorrow, once at noon and once at night or whatever and do intervals? unless im misreading the schedule then whatevs

I think we should impliment a rule where you gotta spend a certain % of your payroll per season minimum or damages, or people should have their payrolls deastically cut so we can have some normal salaries.

Norcal, sitting at 107 million, with 21 dudes on their roster, has 100 million left over. Clearly you're not using it all and all it's doing is driving up FA's asking prices

Again, we earned our high budgets. Some teams have seen their budgets more than double since they took over. Good management got them where they are. You had all the same opportunities to have a near $200mil budget that Norcal or NE or Sheltown did.

Find MLB teams, might I add, with smaller payrolls, with as many rookie contracts as we all have. Thats why people are "doing better" they have these 80/80 monsters making 400k because theleague is 6 years old and players had to be studs to start with rookie contracts.

In about 10 seasons, the league is gonna finally be far enough in where these contracts wont exist, until then people are gonna just have team after team of half rookie contracts until their development isn't fast enough to use them in the ML.
