Huskerskev's Bowl Predictions

I did this last season and thought i'd take a few minutes and give it another shot. Good luck to all.
agle Bank Bowl - Navy at Ball State-Both teams are among the top 10 in rushing. Ball St's defense and talent level are better. Ball St. 23 Navy 13
St. Petersburg Bowl - Southern Miss at Louisiana-Monroe=On paper the game appears fairly even. ULM will try to grind it out and rely on their defense. Southern Miss 21 ULM 17
New Mexico Bowl -Boise State at New Mexico-Expect a shootout as two high powered meets in this one. Boise St's top 5 offense is the difference. Boise St 35 New Mexico 31 Actual Score Boise St 19 New Mexico 14
PapaJohns.com Bowl - LA Tech at Louisiana-Lafayette-A rare bowl game rematch. These two teams met week 3, Louisiana Tech won 21-7. Expect more of the same. Louisiana Tech 21 ULL 13
New Orleans Bowl - North Texas at Rice-N. Texas won their last 6 games, Rice was 6-6 but lost 4 games by a FG or less. Rice 23 N Texas 16
GMAC Bowl - Temple at Houston-Expect Houston to come out and make a statement, not the bowl they were hoping for. Cougars top ranked defense too much. Houston 28 Temple 3
Poinsettia Bowl - San Jose State at San Diego State-Two good passing teams, could very well come down to final possession. San Diego St 31 San Jose St 28
Las Vegas Bowl - Troy at TCU-TCU's offense against Troy's defense will be the match up to watch. TCU just has too much fire power. TCU 28 Troy 10
Armed Forces Bowl - Southern Methodist at Colorado State-Southern Methodist will have to come up big on defense and special teams to have a shot. Colorado St 21 Southern Methodist 14
Hawai'i Bowl - Idaho at Ohio-Ohio only allows 115 a game thru the air (4th in the league). Idaho's offense throws for 240 (7th in the league). Something has to give. Idaho 31 Ohio 13
Motor City Bowl - Kent State at Florida Atlantic-Kent St's only loss came to undefeated Bowling Green. Can FAU pull off the upset? Kent will continue to roll. Kent State 38 FAU 21
Champs Sports Bowl - Illinois at Boston College-5 of Illinois 6 losses were by a touchdown or less. 4 of 5 losses by BC were to ranked opponents. Illinois 24 BC 23 Actual Boston College 17 Illinois 14
Insight Bowl - Michigan State at Kansas State-Kansas St can't stop the pass (119 th in the NCAA). Michigan St is 13th in the country passing, looks like a bad matchup. Michigan St 28 Kansas St 21
Humanitarian Bowl - Hawai'i at Toledo-Hawaii has won 7 of 8 since an 0-4 start. Toledo will have to figure out a way to slow down the aerial attack of Hawaii. Hawaii 30 Toledo 20
Texas Bowl - Tulsa at Wyoming-Tulsa has won 7 of 8, only loss top 10 Houston. Wyoming will rely on ball control to try pulling off the upset. Tulsa 23 Wyoming 10
Alama Bowl - Wisconsin at Texas Tech-The Red Raiders will try to throw the ball all over the field as Wisconsin's defense has done decent against the pass all year. Texas Tech 38 Wisconsin 21
Emerald Bowl -Western Michigan at Wake Forest-Wake Forest struggled down the stretch after starting 3-0. W. Michigan's goal is to keep the score as low as possible. Western Michigan 17 Wake Forest 13
Holiday Bowl - Washington at Nebraska-Washington is reeling a little after losing 4 of their last 5 following a 7-0 start. Nebraska is 9-3 but still not ranked. Huskers are out to gain some respect. Nebraska 31 Washington 27 Actual Nebraska 16 Washington 10
Music City Bowl - East Carolina at North Carolina-Two teams heading in opposite directions. NC has won 5 in a row. ECU has dropped 6 of 8. North Carolina 24 East Carolina 14
Sun Bowl - Texas at Arizona-Texas is actually happy to be in the Sun Bowl after a disappointing 7-5 finish. Arizona is out to stomp on the Longhorns while they are down. Texas 28 Arizona 13
Independence Bowl - Tennessee at Oklahoma State-Tennessee's 115th ranked defense will be challenged by the Cowboy's top 25 offense. Expect a shootout. Oklahoma St 42 Tennessee 38
Chick-fil-A Bowl - Georgia at Florida State-FSU lost their final 2 to cost them a trip to the National Championship Game. Georgia has already played 7 ranked teams (4-3). Georgia 31 FSU 21
Meineke Car Care Bowl - Pittsburgh at Maryland-Both teams will throw the ball with relative ease, the team with the fewer INT's will win this one. Maryland 28 Pittsburgh 27
Liberty Bowl - Auburn at Memphis-Memphis is coming off a conference USA title, Auburn is glad to be done with the brutal SEC. Auburn 35 Memphis 31
International Bowl - Central Michigan at Cincinnati-Points will be at a premium as the Chippewas defense will try to control the pace of the game. Central Michigan 17 Cincinnati 14
Outback Bowl - South Carolina at Indiana-The Gamecocks will have to step up defensively to have a chance to win this one. The Hooisers boast a balanced attack that's proved touch to stop. South Carolina 24 Indiana 17
Cotton Bowl - LSU at Missouri-Missouri disappointed to be left out of the BCS as they have just 2 losses by a total of 7 points. LSU has similiar credentials, 2 losses by 13 points. One of the best matchups outside the BCS games. Missouri 34 LSU 27
Gator Bowl - West Virginia at Miami-West Virginia has reeled off 7 straight wins. Miami's only 2 losses came to top 10 teams. Miami 24 West Virginia 13
Capital One Bowl - Alabama at Penn State-Penn St lost 3 of their last 5, Alabama meanwhile won 8 straight before being embarrassed in the SEC Championship. Alabama 28 Penn St 23
BCS Bowls:
Rose Bowl - Michigan at California-Michigan was the surprise winner of the Big 10 with a later win over Ohio St. Cal's only setback was to top ranked USC. California 31 Michigan 20
Orange Bowl - Rutgers at Georgia Tech-Can Rutgers pull off the huge upset? Georgia Tech has a 4-2 record vs top 20 teams. Georgia Tech 41 Rutgers 17
Sugar Bowl - Notre Dame at Bowling Green-The Fighting Irish's only loss was to top ranked USC, but also have no wins against Top 25 teams. Bowling Green is undefeated, but haven't played a team with the talent of Notre Dame. Notre Dame 34 Bowling Green 27
Fiesta Bowl - Ohio State at Oklahoma-Two teams that both could make a case for a shot at a Championship. Two teams that play old fashioned smash mouth football, would be fun to watch. Ohio St 17 Oklahoma 14
BCS National Championship Game - Florida at USC-An unbelievable matchup on paper. Two great offenses with both teams loaded at basically every position. Florida 28 USC 20 Actual Florida 37 USC 35

No, not sandbagging. Look at my season, if a team can pass well they kick my ass!
