The University of Florida Gators will take on the Southern California Trojans in the fourteenth edition of the NDL Championship.

As the Team Matchup shows, Florida has the advantage in most statistical categories and even boasts a 23-14 victory over these same Trojans in the NDL Cup Championship.

Florida may want to get WR Louis Murphy (9) involved early and often as he was 2nd on the team in TD receptions with 7.
Florida Head Coach BigMike has a great legacy in the NDL, as he has one BCS National Championship trophy already under his belt. Seven seasons ago, he won the championship with these same Florida Gators in a perfect, 13-0 season, but this time he must feel fortunate getting into the title game with one loss to the LSU Tigers.

In his only loss this season, LSU won the game 28-27, but lost the turnover battle 6-4. The Tigers, coached by Doodee, made UF QB Tim Tebow work as they sacked him three times, while forcing the Gators defense to stay on the field for more than 14 minutes as they used 114 rushing yards to milk the clock.
With such productive offenses on both sides of the ball in this game, turnovers should be kept to a minimum unless nerves interfere.
USC Head Coach Wj5811 may have some butterflies in his stomach as this is an opportunity for his first NDL National Championship. He does have the benefit of knowing the SEC, as he coached the LSU Tigers for nine straight seasons from Season III until Season XI.
The Trojans enter this game unblemished at 12-0 beating most of their opponents by more than a possession except for two 3-point wins against Kansas State in Week One and #22 Washington in Week Ten. In addition, the 12 wins include three victories over ranked teams.

Fans of the Trojans must be accustomed to undefeated seasons and title game berths as this is the 2nd time in as many seasons that they have played in the championship game.

USC HB C.J. Gable has only 14 carries for 64 yards and one TD on the season, but that 6.0 YPC average and his hard work in practice have Coach Wj considering a role increase for the upcoming game.
This season has mirrored the last almost exactly as USC is again the #1 team entering this game and they should be favored as they seek their 4th NDL National Championship. They hope to not let this one out of the bag as they did last year.
Southern Cal will need to use their 8th-ranked scoring defense that is allowing only 13.3 points per game to keep them in what should be a very good title game, but Florida's 37.8 per game average may be too much for the Trojans to handle.
Watch the Gators take this one in a close, low-scoring battle, 28-17.
