Best 1-2 Punch (Pitchers)

Post by trendon »

New York's is pretty good: Ayala and Baker. However, Port Orange's Ladd and Hays wins hands down. Anyone else have any other second-place options?

New England has Vickers, Ruppert, and Warner. I'd grade Vickers and Ruppert as a B.

My quick scores

PO - Ladd/Hays: A+
NY - Ayala/Baker: A-
ALB - Bechtel/Flores: B+
NE - Vickers/Ruppert: B
TOR - Gopher/Meatball: F

If Max Englund has a return to form next year then he and Unworth are pretty nice for the top of my order. The problem is Mathis underperformed his new contract as a third starter.

Vicnio (top 25 prospect) will start next season in the bigs. Not sure yet on Gonzalez (he of the 16k perfect game in single-A this season).

When we have an All-Decade Team, it sure will be interesting.
