2012 NDL Fantasy Baseball League
Re: 2012 NDL Fantasy Baseball League
If that's the price for acquiring a top level potential talent then that seems fine from my end. What is our proposed deal to make this "even"

I don't really care man, do what you want. You'd be better served to just keep Butler. He's projected to hit .292 with 12 HR's 52 rbis and 49 runs the rest of the way. Hosmer is projected to hit .279, 12 HR's, 52 rbi's, and 45 runs. So you're giving up a better player, for his lesser counter part that has "potential" along with giving a closer to the league leader, whom you're trying to catch.DRWebs wrote:If that's the price for acquiring a top level potential talent then that seems fine from my end. Re: 2012 NDL Fantasy Baseball League
Zero chance Butler scores more runs or steals more bases than Hosmer from here on out...20/20 players don't grow on trees. And I'm more concerned with getting into the money, slow start killed the title hopes

Didn't say anything about steals. He's projected to have 6... wooooooo 6!DRWebs wrote:Zero chance Butler scores more runs or steals more bases than Hosmer from here on out...20/20 players don't grow on trees. And I'm more concerned with getting into the money, slow start killed the title hopes
I'd take Butler +5 on runs the rest of the way

Re: 2012 NDL Fantasy Baseball League
You do realize how tight the SB category is right? And currently they're a push for runs with Hosmer's totals only to go up when he starts hitting. Butler is a pure DH whereas Hosmer is versatile enough to play the outfield, so who do you think has more run potential? Where do you get your projections fromSeeitsaveit13 wrote:Didn't say anything about steals. Bloomberg and Rotowire both have similar numbers. I don't really follow those things, but it's a neutral 3rd party at leastDRWebs wrote:You do realize how tight the SB category is right? Honestly I dont care if this goes through or not. I need help in saves and average. I love hosmer and i think he is the better player in the deal as well. I am glad this trade made some people get active lol
With that I am looking to trade still, if this deal goes through or not, if you want to trade hit me up!

Re: 2012 NDL Fantasy Baseball League
IF the trade gets vetoed again, would Butler for Hosmer be palatable?

Re: 2012 NDL Fantasy Baseball League
1B Billy Butler
1B Adam Dunn
3B Mike Moustakas
OF Alex Gordon
SP Ricky Romero
RP Fernando Rodney
RP Rafael Soriano
RP Casey Janssen
Aforementioned players are available, looking for primarily just SP in return. Uninterested in taking on more players than giving up in any deal
