He said the man align changes the coverage assignment which he didn't want to do. You could audible to flip the play. That'll most likely put your ss covering the man your fs was covering.Uuaww wrote:instead of show blitz, isn't there a man allign option on that same screen?

Re: Early Reviews Are a Disaster
I forget which year it was, but they had a practice mode for coffin corner kicks. Anyone that has played me realizes that I obviously spent more time on that than anyone ever should. There was also a D-Line and DB practice mode.
I take the Dave approach, tick it up just a little bit, more air and my guys get a chance to get down there. I also kick air towards the sideline, that way if they catch the ball, its either just out of bounds or they only have one way to run.

They said it was cheesy that you kicked it high or towards the sideline?I_S33M_THAB33T_U wrote:NCSUholmey wrote:I forget which year it was, but they had a practice mode for coffin corner kicks. Personally, the only thing I can't stand is that line drive punt that others have pointed out.

Yep, anyone that has ever played knows I kicked it towards either sIdeline, not that line drive crap, n they said it was cheesy n expected more out of someone who helps run farm. I just laughed,

Yeah I have no problem with people angling towards the sideline because that's just strategy. That's what you're supposed to do as a punter.I_S33M_THAB33T_U wrote:Yep, anyone that has ever played knows I kicked it towards either sIdeline, not that line drive crap, n they said it was cheesy n expected more out of someone who helps run farm. The line drive thing is just breaking the AI because you can't return it

I'll kick it towards the sideline if I'm past my own 45 and try and pin you deep. I'll kick it deep if I'm in my own end of the field unless I get burned with long punt returns. Then I'll try and angle it away from the returner or punt it high. The line drive punts are bs though.

Riccio slaughtered me UCONN vs WSU. His passing game was absolutely amazing. He made such quick and accurate reads. Seemed like he knew who was gonna be open before he even snapped it and he made his reads without even allowing my coverage to be uncovered. Man, zone, blitz...he didn't care.
I really need to find my playbooks. I was using 4-3 on D and might stick with it still but on O I am a mess. I liked Pro Style because it has a lot of stuff under center, short passes and nice running plays but I cannot run in this game and if WSU's line gives me no time to throw even if it is just a slant.

That reminds me, do you guys have auto sprint on or off? I always had it on in Madden 12, which is a game I was very good at. I'm wondering if I should just leave it on here, too. I know to turn auto strafe off, thats for sure.
And does anyone know if you can jump while strafing? In Madden 12 you could jump much higher and with more control if you held the strafe button; however, in NCAA 13 I feel like my guy won't jump if I'm holding strafe but that could be my timing which is way off in comparison to M12

You can strafe jump on defense, but not on offense.Matt90210 wrote:Riccio slaughtered me UCONN vs WSU. His passing game was absolutely amazing. He made such quick and accurate reads.
