No Huddle Offense

If the defense is smart enough to match up with a 4 wr set running a nohuddle, then why would you can if the offense used a formation with a wr lined up at the end of the line in the te's spot? No matchup advantage in the passing game if the extra db is still on the field, and it would be a disadvantage to the offense if running in fact. Plus I'd like the mercy rule to be at 50 anyway

I have no problem with it personally as long as the person isn't audibiling down. I love those offenses where you will see a TE with his hand in the dirt on one play then split out wide on the next.

I was referring to tes playing tigt end and slot. The rules clearly state no wr at tight end which is why I posted about using guys in their legal spots.

I had ZERO issues with DAK running the no huddle when I played him in each of the last two seasons.
As buckeye said, it was nice to play against something different.

I don't see a problem with it. Lots of teams split their TE's out these days.

I don't use guess run because I know that is a super no-no. I also upsell how many rules I break just for amusement sake. I also play a very straight game overall, so people don't begrudge me. It doesn't mean I can't push for rules changes for the good of the league. I think guess run is good for the league.

if the feature works then yes, it could def. work. the problem was how bad it was broken. you could guess run middle and get 95% of runs for a loss 2 years ago.
