Admins, or somebody....
Can someone input my roster for me on the NDL2 site? The power supply on my computer crapped out and I have no way of doing it myself until I get it back.

Re: Admins, or somebody....
So I tried to import my excel file to add up my roster and whenever I hit "import file" it takes me to the NDL2 Home Page. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Or I can email somebody the file, just need the email addy.

Re: Admins, or somebody....
I know Holmey had said something about doing a mass import for everyone, is this still the case?
I have my roster ready for import also.

holmey was working on something but it keeps stalling out at 80%. If you want to update your roster feel free.

Does this mean to hold off for now?
I don't want to take the time to input the rosters and then whatever holmey is working on, wipe them all out.
If he is working on something to upload them for us, I will hold off for now.

Re: Admins, or somebody....
I altered the mass upload script, may work now.
I loaded mine in that way and it took just a few mins to download the full roster and upload to the site. Had to change the year designations to match as well as a few positions, but not too much

Re: Admins, or somebody....
Need some excel help here...I was able to use a formula to separate last name from first name but if I were to put it in the roster template on the site it wouldn't work unless I keep the original info there as well. Any workaround or better way?

Re: Admins, or somebody....
The import link is taking me back to the NDL2 main site still

Type them in. Takes 15 minutes. Done.

Or I can let Holmey know what's going on because it is obviously something he loves doing and wants to perfect his craft...BIGmike wrote:Type them in. Takes 15 minutes. Done.
I tried on both Firefox and Chrome, same thing.

Re: Admins, or somebody....
So I was able to get to the upload page and it told me two things.
1. When I tried to SAVE AS: XML the actual template is password protected so it wouldn't let me save it. (So I tried a copy and paste to a new workbook and tried that.)
2. The only way I was able to get to the upload site was to right click the link and "Open as Incognito Window"
3. After a few minutes the page gave me this error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/onlinedynasty/onlinedynasty.net/ndl2.0/handledata.php on line 161
I am not complaining, so you all that say "Type it in" can go ahead and do that, I'll have no problem being a guinea pig for Holmey if he chooses to fix it...
