The Reds just beat the hell out of the Cardinals in that 9th inning. That was fun to watch.

They scored 4 runs and still had the bases loaded with only one ball leaving in the infield in the 9th. They pull Boggs, and then two of the next three pitches end up in the outfield driving in 4 or 5 runs.

16 guys to the plate in the inning.

I worry that if Strasburg succeeds - and stays healthy - Rizzo's asshole arrogant plan will begin to permeate baseball.

Just some Marlins tidbits
Miami Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria personally mandated the lineup card change that flip-flopped starting pitchers Jose Fernandez and Ricky Nolasco in a doubleheader Tuesday and left Marlins players furious with his continued meddling, three sources with knowledge of the situation told Yahoo! Sports.

What an awesome picture. For many reasons.

Unless Dave wants to come in and provide his "fake!" comment.

Image
Everybody wants a selfie these days, a self-portrait in some dramatic location. Kelly Nash, a Tampa Bay Rays reporter for Sun Sports, decided to show the folks back home where she was working, and picked an ideal moment during batting practice to snap the photo.

Nash noted that her producer had called out "heads up!" a few times as home run balls rained down around her. "But none of those balls actually fell close to me," Nash said, "so I took my chances turning my back on batting practice for a picture." Once she looked at it, she realized just how close she'd come to getting beaned.
