AL Pennant would be the team SoCal beat, yes. Good to see Trendon lose in the World Series like he did in 2010!!!! :)

I was looooong gone by the end. I left right after the divisional round.

I know I'm in the minority here, but it's painfully too slow, like ridiculously slow. Last year was much more efficient.

yeah, I would have said no changes but I was in the minority. Luckily I started playing cod and just glanced at the screen whenever reign sent me a message

I really wanted to make the championship but I kinda knew it wasn't my time yet. The offense was great but the bullpen was downright awful and cost me. The two veteran SPs, Rags and Tyler were amazing. Rags had something like 3 ERs in 29 innings of work and Tyler was great as well. The two rookie SPs were not. Moran was mediocre but Chattway was a god damn disaster. He was shelled in both games and I was forced to start Moran on short rest which wasn't a good decision and New York took advantage. Not having another SP to plug in was a killer.

Still, great experience, hopefully Washington is a regular playoff team now.

Don't get me wrong, last night was still better than the no changes, without question IMO.

But a little more quickness and efficiency would be super.

For example(my times may be slightly off), the very first game of round 1 was simmed around 8:54 est. Keep in mind, there's 4 matchups in round 1. Game 2s didn't start until around 9:30, somewhere around 30-40 minutes later.

Note that it wasn't Round 2, I'm talking Game 2s starting about 35 minutes after game 1s.

That was me the last 2 years.

I went with a 4 man rotation 2 years ago but my 4th man was terrible. Last year I felt I upgraded and had 4 capable SPs, but Deathblow basically missed the entire season, so I went with a 3 man rotation for 3 rounds of the playoffs, and I think it caught up to me.

With the pitching you have, and how young they are, this is causing some wheels to turn in Ohio. I absolutely loaded up my rotation this season and had a solid performer in every position in the field, and it still wasn't good enough. Stay tuned for big changes in Ohio.

I think you should rebuild, take away jason's argument that the reason he didn't make playoffs was that our division was too tough.

Right... we lost about 20min waiting for Trendon to get connected, then there was a bit of a learning period, accompanying the game 2 changes. For the most part, I thought after we got through game 2s and everyone saw the format, it sped up. Of course there were some response time issues that could have been faster as well. I think the total process was around 3hrs. If guys are prepared and we get faster responses, we probably do that in 2 to 2:15. But the fact is, doing it in 3 is still faster than uploading between rounds.

I didn't make any changes to my lineup, only pitching changes... but watching some of the guys tweak their lineup due to injury really made me realize how important that is for them. If I had lost any of my OF, I certainly wouldn't have wanted C. Smith to just fill into that spot in the order, so I get it.

I think the 2, or even 3 hour event shouldn't feel like a commitment, but I want it to be that guys really look forward to it (even if they aren't a part of it).

LMAO... I'm too busy today... I had a whole series of replies lined up for that thread. :-P

Maybe I can chill on these con calls and have some fun.

BTW, SoCal front office should be shipping over a fruit basket thanking you for Pablo.

I agree. I'm partial to grapes!

Good for Pablo, he deserved better than the mess that was Sheltown this season. And with all of my old guys and not much else around, I wouldn't have competed for anything the next 2-3 years with him anyway.

Yup, im with you.

Shel wasnt even in the playoffs and he was complaining but you know damn well if he was and he had to make changes he would do every single one of them too.

Like I said, a lot of the delays were Trendon and then we had a ton of injuries and I love being able to fix those on the fly. If the injuries didnt occur as much like last year we are fine.

Also I was thinking my changes while the other series were going on and was prepared. I rapid fired them off to Reign when it was my turn and i had a lot and was done within 2-3 minutes, tops.

Totally agree committing to 2-3 hours for this anytime in the future beats uploads and daily sims.

Keep it going Reign and thanks again for doing it. Awesome feature of the league.

Last year, the only thing I did was tell Reign to check my SP health, and picked an SP, and that takes less than 15 seconds to do. Through 3 rounds, I made zero lineup changes. :)

If you had an injury like almost every single team did you definitely would have

Yeah, if anyone really wants to know how to handle your changes, you should have watched C last night. He had to bounce around a little and did quite a few, but it was bang, bang, bang with instructions and we flew through them.

I really appreciated that.
