nothing spells sim fun more than three season ending injuries to 3/5 of the pitching staff...yay. And two of the guys won't even back til mid season and by then won't be worth two shits.What fun this game is!

id rather be the worst team than have quality pitchers on the DL and when they return they'll be completely shitty. Next season is basically a wash as well. Maybe some other GM will be in Colorado by then.

I don't know much about Gil Russell, but I'm thrilled to get the waiver claim on him. Great timing. I lost Murray last sim, then went to call up Lujan, only to find out that he was down too. I've got enough depth at most positions to cruise through injuries... but definitely didn't have it at C.

yeah Gil has nice ratings.

he'll put it together somewhere.... just won't be with us.

he was out of options and about a .120 career hitter. probably needs consistent AB's to work thru it

The Alcoholics have also been slowly climbing the ranks. After the first 3 sims, Houston was #30 (out of 30) in the power rankings. Since then we have reached #12. We have also put ourselves 1 game over .500. This marks the first time being over .500 (this late in the season) since the franchise made their historic move from Kentucky.

Houston A sits 3.5 games out of a WC spot and only 9.5 out of the division lead. . . . there is still a half a season to go . . . but management is very excited about the future.
