I think seem would do well as a commish if/when Reign is done. Im for whatever but a fictional league sounds cool as hell.

Thanks for support Doc.

i am just going to lay it out there like this.

I know some of us have had issues or whatever. I am offering to step away from my team. give them a new owner and run the league only. Which means I have no ties to anything other then making the SIMS happen. If/When reign steps down. I love the OOTP, would miss it. But bigger picture is fun, I can still follow everything but have no ties to 1 team. I am asking Reign to teach me whatever I need to know to do this, If he would. If he does, Once we start, that is when I step away from my team. I am willing to make everyone happy and enjoy OOTP w/o any questions. I would also look to Niddler/AJ/Nick to lend a hand in the FORUM part of things as well. Since all 3 are commish's already.

Some things i would like to do for the league.

1. Sim everyday. Couple options here. Keep it at 7 days a sim, with slowing down ST and allow for Draft if not finished come time in game(#3 below). Or sim everyday, Series by series, Season last longer, More time to adjust lineups and play for injuries and such. Down side = 1.5 seasons every few months instead of 3. This would kind of be on what you the people would want.

2. This one is gonna take some learning, But would like to add the ability to train players, For a fee of course. But i think that is part of the game.

3. Draft is LIVE till end, Maybe cut the # of rounds down. Not sure of options here.

4. Do more active writing for the whole league. My way of paying attention to everything. Really would enjoy this.

5. Other Ideas/suggestions

Just something to think on. And again reign if you really want to just step down and play I will do this. Really don't want to see one of the only few 30 user controlled OOTP lg's die or restart.

And If he is willing to teach me, I would also not be apposed to running a smaller 1 on the side for those guys who can't get enough. This would prolly be of the Historic version, With real draft classes, As this can be done also. Might not be able to take it as far back, But I know we can go back into the 80's - 90's for this info for sure. As the one Matt ran was started in 97 ? Shel could maybe confirm as his Cards beat my Mariners in 6 games in WS in the only season it lasted. Pujols was like 20. I had had Griffey and A juice along with the unit. Was a blast. But I wouldnt mind taken that one back into the 50-80's.

Having a 3rd party would be awesome. Then everyone can enjoy the game.
Everyone enjoys the game anyway

How do you figure ? If they did, We wouldnt be even visiting this issue. Clearly something has gone wrong here.
(just skimmed all this after a long day of work, so could be missing something)

All I saw was that Reign hinted at stepping down soon (young kid, school, work are all good reasons to have limited time) and then people pretty much just discussed possible replacement scenarios. I didn't see anything hint at anything having "gone wrong" or anyone not enjoying the game... Like I said, I could have missed it (hell, maybe even a whole page), but it didn't seem like there was anyone not enjoying the game... Just Whit not liking Ted... (who the hell truly likes him anyway? ;) )

I've tried to explain some of it... but it's just words and numbers until someone actually does the job.

Just a guess, but I'd estimate that I've spent about 500 hours in the last year running the league. To put that in perspective, 3 weeks of 24 hour days... or 8% of all of the hours I was awake.

lost 3 of 4 to Washington but the Chicago lead is down to 2 in the AL East.

Trendon/NY right there with us back by 2, Albany down by 4.

its like nothing ever changed with realignment

Cincinnati Titans News:

Due to the unfortunate injury to G. Wan, knuckleballer Alejandro Rosa made his ML debut this sim. Rosa was pulled directly off of the DL and promoted to the majors for his 1st start. Even though the partially torn labrum seems to have affected his Stamina, Rosa was still able to throw his slop for 8 innings. The Martians simple couldn't make clean contact. Rosa gave up just 2 runs and 2 hits, but he did walk 7, which equals his totals from AAA this year.

The Alcoholics split a 4 game series with the LOLcats . . . taking the 1st game and the last game. Houston A remained 1 game over .500 and play a 4 game set at lowly San Diego and then travel to Colorado for a 3 game series.

this season is a tease, by all rights the Rams should be out of it but only 4 back despite all the crushing injuries to pitching. The timing is just horrible because the young offense is finally putting it together but Brewer and Ulrich, two veteran pitches, won't be there to help out. Decisions, decisions...

Omaha still sucking it up. Lose 3 of 4 to Seattle. Now we go on the road to New York for 4 games and then fly back and host Las Vegas.

Just checked out the All Star game box score. How / Why did Bob Smith get the start? I the leading vote getter gets the start. He set the stage for a great performance against the National League, now here is to hoping he continues his first half success into the second half.

You'd think. I put them in, in order. Maybe there's an option for me to set that, I'm not sure. The other thing could be fatigue. I know I was terrified of Pablo pitching because he was gassed.. I looked at the box score and he didn't throw at all in the game.

How can I find the All Star rosters or voting results? On the utility, it says no results or something, and i'm not sure how to view the roster from the sites.

Mainly just trying to see if Hogan made it, i know he didn't pitch.

I close the utility after voting ends.

Just look at Hogan's history.

07/01/2024 Was selected to the 2024 NDL Baseball League All-Star Game.
