The Jags should move MJD like the Browns moved Richardson

Jags would be lucky to get a 7th for MJD

i'll go right down the middle on this.

i'd guess his value is around a 5th unless Al Davis is around.

All possible slip ups.

None of these teams are better than Denver but wouldnt be surprised if a slip occurred against one of them.
If the Colts defense continues playing well, Week 7 in Indy could be very interesting.
I never count out San Diego in any game either...

Does the NFL do conditional draft picks?

MJD to Miami for Conditional Draft Pick: 2nd Round if MIami makes AFC Championship, 4th Round if MIami makes Playoffs, otherwise 5th Round.

if Jax got a 5th for MJD theyd be getting great value imo. 28 yr old injury proned running backs with tons of carries are not high on GM's wish list.

He's getting pummeled due to the pieces around him. Move him to Miami or another team with a few more weapons and see what he's worth. Conditional draft pick would be a solid move for him and would take a bunch of the risk factor out of the deal.

His accuracy is pretty ridiculous too.
I was having this discussion with someone while we were watching the game in class last night. In a matter of less than 2 seconds, Manning recognized the SS starting to fly back to single high coverage, noticed the man indication, pulled a quick glance and signal to Welker and Thomas for a pop screen and fired it off. No other QB in the league is operating that fast and efficient at the LOS.

The beauty of it is that his hard counts are so convincing that he gets teams to show their defense. Ray Lewis was saying last night what I've said for a long time--if you give him single man coverage with deep safeties, he's going to destroy you. When you have a line who can get pressure and you can sit in zone, it's not as easy for him.

Jags won't trade him for the simple fact that without him, there's nobody on the team that anybody will come to see, and there's no body on the team that anybody would want to play with.

The team is a mess. They need to trade Shorts if they're going to trade someone, he's their best piece. Drafting properly needs to be their first priority. Stop wasting picks on guys like Robinson and Matt Jones and Byron Leftwich.

Never knew you a free kick for a field goal was allowed after a fair catch of a punt. Never seen that done till tonight. I'm still laughing at Harbaugh thinking Phil Dawson could hit a 71 yarder

Why? Kickoffs go farther than that and you're able to run up the whole distance of a kickoff... Smart try by Harbaugh. Higher odds than a hail mary

How do you figure the odds are better with the field goal?

How many times do you see a kicker put the kickoff through the uprights during a normal Sunday? (I've seen 4 this year alone in the 3 games I've been at).

How many times do you see a hail mary from the 40 result in a TD?

How many 71 yard field goals have been made in NFL games? How many hail Mary's have succeeded from your own territory?

Those are the relevant questions, Kickoffs are not relevant.

It was a free kick. No rush. Held like a FG, and he could run up to it like a kickoff. Kickoffs are very relevant, as it was basically a kickoff without the tee. Pay attention.

I didn't even watch it

What the hell is a free kick? Lol. In that case, I'm with you. And I'm going away now.

Kicking off the tee is way different than someone holding it like a field goal.

I knew you weren't even watching or I wouldn't have been a dick about it ;)

A free kick is exactly what I explained. It's one of those crazy ass rules in the rule book. I only know what it is because Phil brought it up when we were bored at walk through once last year (which, I'm guessing is why they tried it, unless Harbaugh knew).
