Be sure to schedule a game and update it every few days in the scheduling threads to get credit for the game.

I agree with everyone that it sucks to have to babysit and reach out to your opponent with no response.
Hence the thread that I started with the Status of Season 28.

This, myself, I have been super busy. I'm the Union VP for our local fire dept. We have been in contract talks much of the last two months. Now we have meetings with a neutral...etc....our first meeting was 12hrs.....I've been busy myself. So it goes...nothing I can do.....

I will attempt to get all my games in. My family is growing by 1, I have a vacation planned. If I don't get my games in, my opponents will get wins I will not.

Hit up your scheduling threads. post times. If your opponent don't respond well its on them, myself included. Just continue to be active that's all we ask.

negative my ass more being sarcastic thus the I for one have ALWAYS tried to get ALL my games in since season 1 week 1. You, Niddler, as a conf commish shouldn't be scolding those who have stayed active but instead get on those who have not or at least let those that are playing know the reasoning. At least conf commish should let the conferences know the status of the inactivity of some.

Champ, you have no idea what I do to try to reach out to people that are inactive, so please, do not tell me what I should and should not be doing.

But for the record, to inform you of what I am doing about the inactivity...
Last season I sent over 40 PMs to everyone, regardless of the conference they were in, that had under half their games played at a certain point.
And these were individual PMs, not a blanket PM of hey, get your game in.

I plan on following up this season too.
And for the record, this season and last, I was not a conference commissioner.
I asked buckeye for some time off as I have a 6 month old at home, but I still do my part to keep the league moving forward.

HAHAHA - I noticed that too. Seems like people are making a conscience decision to just say 'f it' and not play or respond even after saying they were in. I hope I'm wrong in that, but it's starting to feel that way with people finding time to post (and possibly play unrelated games) in other threads.
