One of the first rounds I ever played of BF4, I had my repair tool and I saw a tank targeting the bomb. He was killing everyone, so obviously, they got a tank to go attack our tank. I stood right behind the tank repairing it for about three minutes. After the round, which we won easily, I got a message from the guy thanking me. I looked at the Battelog report and he got 31 tank kills and something like five tank destroys.

Killing people with the repair tool and the defibrillators is the best.

And using the repair tool is necessary to unlock other equipment. Might as well get that done the easiest way you can.

BigMike and Biffy just don't appreciate a team game... ;)

Obliteration is just suicide if you aren't on a good team.

I got to play some 64-man conquest. A little laggy still but wow is it insane.

So did that patch come out? And if so, is everything fixed now?

3 points to explode in the enemy territory with 1 bomb available to set at a time. Both teams battle for the same bomb

Patch up. I love how the PS4 just starts downloading it as soon as I turn the console on.

And, no, from what I am reading, there will never be a patch for pre-match squad parties.

I gave up on explaining anything about this game to you people two years ago. I'd explain it, in detail, about how it isn't a terrible disadvantage, but I might as well just write the words down on a piece of paper, crumble it up, chew on it, and then vomit back out on the floor ... it'd have the same effect.

You can tell I am getting old. I am learning when not to argue/waste words. Well, at least moreso than before.

OK, let's start over. I'll "defend" it.

I don't see an issue with it because the ability to join a server with a friend is easy. Plus, the ability to switch teams while in the game makes getting grouped easy. The main game modes are also 16-on-16 and 32-on-32 so room isn't a huge issue (as long as they fix the fucking server browser screen as it is kinda annoying right now) and it doesn't seem to be a problem as I constantly run into opponents with double-digit clan members in it ... which, by the way, is a fucking nightmare because even though Battlefield tends to make people play the game the "right" way, you can't beat a big group.

But, let's just say that the no pre-game party system is a huge problem. I have no need to "defend" this missing feature because of every single other aspect of the game.

It is easy to change teams and squads. Then you can spawn right on your squad members on the ground or in vehicles.

If you leave the system in standby instead of shutting it down, it will download these automatically.
When you turn the system on, it gives you a summary of everything that was updated.
Just FYI. It is nice to not have to wait for downloads anymore.
