Also, I didnt understand the player development budget thing. It says I have a budget of $172m.

Total expenses=169,335,095

It wont let me add more to the player development budget though as it says:"With a negative projected balance, the new development budget must not be less than half the league average!"

Looks like I still dont know some gaping holes in the finances of this game.

Just guessing here, but you may be overbudget or near overbudget, but have a cash balance that has you in the green. That cash balance will help with signing free agents, but it won't show up in your actual budget.

This helps. I have about $47million for extensions but now it's coming back to me as this money can't be used for that type of stuff such as player dev and scouting.

1-Click on your team menu tab, upper right

2- Click on team Finances in the Front Office section, middle column

It brings you to your team finances Main Page. Look at the Upper Section of Middle Column.. Budget Information

It will list your current budget, your to-date expenses, remaining expenses, and budget room

Underneath that, you can see projections for next year as well.

honestly.... i understand the thing around here in general is to complain about everything, but these are the most meaningless sims. once your money is allotted how many dudes are really being signed in February? lets get the ass end of the offseason done so we can finally see some games and I can draft my #1 pick!

They do a much better job with sorting and tracking and filtering the stats. Like way better IMO
