I'm not sure you're NDL OOTP material.

I can be a dick with the best of them...but dealing with all the dicks at work is enough! Shit, I can become one on here...
But Las Vegas has come back down fifteen games under .500 to 43-46...which is a big improvement.
Cool to watch those prospects of yore developing for you. Nice work over there

I am still learning everything regarding this league. I have not done any trades like a majority of the owners have, but I am trying to at least be competitive for a couple of weeks. I may have to make some trades for bullpen depth (lefties), but I will be battling at the bottom with Niddler for last place when it is all said and done...no offense Jerry!

No offense taken. I am here by choice as I rebuild.
I have my best team out there that I can for now while some of my youngens get up to par.

I am rebuilding too, and this is actually pretty fun! I may lose, but this shit is interesting.

I think rebuilding is a blast! I had a team with no farm system, about 3 legit ML players and about 3 good prospects. along with about 20 million in debt. after talking to a lot of guy's (reign, iseem,Aj,Gabe,Jason,Doc) I realized I had to rebuild. And with some help from some good friends . I was able to turn things around for a while! I watched iseem and bugged him to death with questions everyday. He was always kind anuff to answer my endless questions. I've really come to admire his wisdom and advise! I highly value any advise and help I get from Gabe and Reign. rebuilding is a blast!

if i do all the grunt work, is it possible to restructure the minors?

example: AAA is just 2 giant leagues. thats so dumb. We should have divisions, have 4-6 teams make playoffs, give the kids more time to play/develop.

AA is the same shit. 2 giant divisions.

I can/gladly will fix up the minors in terms of where each team should be in a division (even 4 divisions, still better than current structure)

Let me know, and I'll get working on it now.

Wow, I drafted him years ago and lost him on waivers to New York West (aka Philadelphia).

I patterned the minors to be as realistic as possible. Someone talked me out of having all sorts of different leagues for each level (you can see I couldn't resist with AA and created entirely separate leagues).

Good news: I got my first ever International find. A 16 year old reliever from the Dominican. Not projected to be great, but hell, he's only 16. He could develop.

Bad news: Both of my top draft picks are being dicks and won't negotiate down from their demands at all. Looks like I'm going to have to choose one or the other to sign, otherwise I risk losing both players.

not to be that guy even though I play the role so well, but why would you draft dudes you mathematically couldn't afford?

p.s - pick the compensation pick to sign cause if you dont sign him you dont get that pick again next yr. Your 2nd overall pick will be compensated.

Because they were both "Normal" to sign, and I took a chance that if I negotiated down 1 mil on both, then I could sign both. I'm not even offering all my other picks anything, these two guys are getting the whole budget. Apparantly I'm wrong and I'm also a fool.

I forgot about not being able to offer major league contracts anymore. I was planning on using that as a bridge between my 7.8 offer and Castaneda's 8.0 demand.

Whitness10 hit me up maybe I can help you out here?
hit me up maybe I can work out something to get from you, for cash so you can sign your bums? beefy . in the future if a guy say's he wants 2 million and you offer him less than what he wants? you are screwed! I have never ever had a draft pick sign for less then what he demands! save your self the from the migraine ! my 3rd round pick a SP wants 1.8 million slot value is 240k. I have the money but the risk is not worth the cost. i'll gladly pay the $240 k but not 1.8 million. he was the bpa at the draft at my pick. but not worth almost 2 million.

I've signed plenty of guys in the past by going with the recommended slot amount over what they are demanding. And why would I ever hit you up for anything? Yeah, that's not going to happen. I never asked for your opinion, so go mind your own business Beefy.

I have also signed plenty of guys below what they were demanding. I believe I t depends on how easy or hard they are for your team to sign along with the players greed.

As far as whit dude, why the attitude?
He was just giving you an idea. Sell off a player or two or do a trade that involves cash so you have enough to sign both.

Why the attitude?? Because it seems anytime I post anything about my team or this game, this fucker always has something to say. He says plenty of stuff on here, and I don't ever chime in, but the moment I post anything, he's comes in with some stupid bullshit that I'm not interested in. Yes, I could just not respond and let it slide, but I'm tired of it. That's why I have the attitude.

The immersion potential is high with this post. Should be a good day.
