And that is what it was. Talking with other Nebraska fans, we'll take 8-5 with a big win over an Oregon (coming up) and Michigan State, losing a few other big games, but not getting annihilated in any of them. Every time they had a show-me game where they were undefeated/one-loss and in a spot where if they win this game, they are "back"

at #10 Michigan State: L, 27-22
at #22 Wisconsin: L, 59-24
vs #16 UCLA: L, 41-21
vs #14 Michigan State: L, 41-28
at #22 UCLA: L, 36-30
at #12 Ohio State: L, 63-38
vs Wisconsin: L, 70-31 (B1G Title)
at #7 Wisconin: L, 48-17
at Michigan: L, 45-17 (Win and go to B1G Title)

Nebraska beat Ohio State at home their first year in the conference I think. But that might have been the Luke Fickell year where Ohio State wasn't that good.

A week after getting humiliated by Wisconsin and Miller got hurt. Simply put, Pelini's Nebraska teams have not one a single important, "this is it!" game in seven years and they were routinely blown out in them.

Enjoy the ride, enjoy the hate. I've been there when Miami was dominating and I bet your ass your boy Pengy and you were hating to the hatenth degree during our run.
My hate for Miami is constant, no matter if they are 0-12 or 12-0.

I dislike Miami. I can pull for them when they represent the ACC or can help FSU by winning. I loathe the Gators. Fuck them! If they needed to win a game in order for me to stay alive, I would die rooting against them.

My brother married a Gator this year, and she is cool, plus 2 of my very best friends at church are Gators too, so I've gotten a little softer on them. Once upon a time though, I regarded them and the Canes on the same level.

I feel the same way with Michigan. I feel that Michigan State and Wisconsin are bigger rivals than Michigan at this point. I want Michigan to be better. I actually hope that they get Harbaugh, then when we beat them anyways, we can all laugh at them for thinking they were going to be good. Until Harbaugh would get all his recruits in there, then I'd be worried. But I want that game to mean something again, not just beating some shitty scrubs from Conference USA.

if anyone, i like FSU more now. People need to stop getting so worked up over a sport. its a game, hating a school, person, team, because of a game is sad.

I just read someone in here would "rather die" than root for an opposing team. My good friend died today, He's not coming back, he was 24. its not something stupid to joke about.

Careful, I said the same ting about UCLA a few years ag and they have kicked our ass the last few years, not fun.

I was expecting there to be many more gator fans here in jax, so I asked a buddy at work (who is a cane) what the deal was... he said 4-5 years ago the area was saturated as it should be, but they kinda went into hiding the past few years and there's more noles and canes that are visible

yeah I know. What I'm hearing from Michigan people I know, is that they are hopeful, but that Harbaugh has been in Cali so many years now, that he won't leave that area because his family loves it. But you never know these days. I never thought LeBron would come back to Cleveland.

Is the Florida AD a complete idiot?

Talks have stalled over the CSU buyout clause of 7.5 million. A clause to specifically hold off poachers such as Florida. This was a clause everyone knew about. I suppose Foley just figured CSU would bow down and reduce the buyout. Hold firm and stick it to the gators!
