College Football 2014
Re: College Football 2014
I like the match ups. Getting a rubber match of a Saban coached team vs a CUM coached team is very exciting

That's why it's tough to go from the rolls Royce to the Yugo we have today.packsyd2284 wrote:That Miami team that beat Nebraska in the Rose Bowl (2001?) was the best College football team to ever play.

Re: College Football 2014
I agree great match ups and stoked they are using bowl games to decide them. Gonna see how much this ticket to the Rose Bowl is gonna be, would be a fun game to catch live. Gotta think Oregon will open as a TD favorite and Bama will be favored by 5.5.

Weird, pac12 champ, sec champ, big10 champ and acc champ. Hmmm no controversy or corruption there. Big12 snuffed because they don't have a championship. Do I totally disagree with the picks, no, but why rank TCU 3 last week and watch them DESTROY ISU and then rank them 6? I don't get it

Re: College Football 2014
Cal's pass defense was really bad. They were officially the worst pass defense in the history of college football in terms of yards given up a game. Also gave up 7 more passing TDs then the next worst team. Teams averaged a first down every pass attempt against them.

I know Ohio State played damn good against Wisconsin, but I am worried about us getting killed by Alabama.trendon wrote:Nebraska is going to get killed by Southern California

Who would have beat them. They would have killed that option attack from tommy Frazier, too good of a dline.trendon wrote:Second best ever.packsyd2284 wrote:That Miami team that beat Nebraska in the Rose Bowl (2001?) was the best College football team to ever play.

Re: College Football 2014
Thatswhat they said about the Warren Sapp and Ray Lewis led team in '94. Huskers were undefeated and ranked #2 behind a 1 loss Hurricane team that year.packsyd2284 wrote:Who would have beat them. As good as the '94 team was the '95 team was even better. What people forget about that option attack is they punted less than 10 times that whole year and averaged 7 yards per rush. They beat 4 top 5 10 teams that year and it wasn't even close, average score 49-18.

Gtfoh.
Both of you.
Take the fucking red kool aid, "oh yeah" bullshit down a notch and acknowledge greatness.
Ain't no team better than that team to ever have stepped on the field. Have a good night, tip your waitresses.

I have to agree with Corey, that Canes team was unreal.

How'd you meet him? He's a really cool guy, the ESPN story a few months back about his struggles with his weight is sad to read.
