Bama falls behind 14-0 before gaining a 21-14 lead going into the half. The game gets to 35-14 before Tennessee gets a late TD to make the final score 35-21 Tide. Great game to jmkeep. We had 2 very competitive games this season. Guy runs the ball as good as anyone I have seen.

As of last night when I went to bed, VT had not played his game yet. VT and FSU attempted the game on Thursday night. The game was DC'd in the 4th quarter with VT up 10 and about to punch it in again. The game was started late that night. Both coaches agreed that it would not be fair to start all the way over with VT up by 10+ points in the 4th. FSU agreed to be put on Auto-pilot so that VT could play and (barring any CPU superman tatics) get the win. Unfortunately VT was going out of town on Friday before I got the message and could put FSU on auto-pilot. VT was supposed to be back yesterday evening to get the game in. I got and "OFFLINE" AIM this morning asking if I got his PM. I am assuming he sent it to my PSN, which I did not get.

I am at work now and assume the game was play after I went to bed last night. I will advance when I get home this evening (6ish central time). Sorry for the delay fellas, but it did not seem right for me to sim a game that was already won by VT and leave that game up to the SIM gods.

Thanks for being patient.

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay. I got my game in last night vs FSU.

Looks like we're ready to advance and see how our big BCS controversy is going to play out.

You got 4 undefeated BCS schools in your Top 4...Pretty sure two teams are going to get the shaft

Wonder who will it be :?:

I don't think Bama can be left out of the top 2. They beat Tennesse twice who were ranked #2 and #8 at the times if memory serves me right. Not having a Big 10 championship game is going to hurt PSU and I think they are left out. So I think that last spot is between Nebraska and VTech. I hope I hang on, but I have seen some crazy things happen in the BCS. In another dynasty I was in, I was UGA at #2, Miami was #1 and USC was #3 going into championship week. We were all undefeated and UGA and Miami both won their championship games fairly easily. In the final BCS pool, #3 USC flip flopped with #1 Miami creating a USC/UGA BCS championship game, crazy stuff.

Poor TCU does not stand a chance. 12-0 but not in a BCS conference. I look forward to next year (NCAA 2010) when TCU will enter the Big 12 and make some noise.

Well VaTech's resume is right in the mix as well. You make a point of Alabama beating UT twice when they were #2 & #8, but I guess you don't remember that Bama wasn't #1 all season. They were actually #2, right before VaTech knocked off then #1 Florida State.

We also beat FSU a 2nd time this year, in the ACC championship game, when they were ranked #8. Throw that in with beating a #5 (West Virginia) and a #7 (UVA) teams this year, I'm failing to see how the Hokies have yet to crack into that #2 spot.

With that being said, I think this brings to a light a situation that very well could happen one day. Really think about if this was a real life scenario, where you have the Top 4 teams all undefeated, all from a BCS conference, all with legit resumes, and a computer gets to pick who plays for a championship.

That coupled with a Non BCS school like TCU left out in the cold and an Independent school like Notre Dame well deserving as well. Sooooo many situations bottle necking at the end of the season. The NCAA committee should pray this scenario never ever happens, because if it ever does, and we're still using the current BCS system with no room for adjustment, they will lose a lot of fans quickly. It would be a serious stain it its history, no different from steroids in baseball 8-)

Good thing I lost to a CPU controlled Michigan team early in the season or we really would have a mess at the top.

Bowls are open. I was NOT able to see who was in the championship game due to my wife watching "Wheel of Fortune".

So, the only user v user game is West Virginia and Virginia Tech. I still plan on advancing Thursday, but might be Thursday night to allow a bit more time.

Bama was ranked #1 for a few weeks before Nebraska jumped us during our bye week. We were #1 when we played then #2 Tennessee.

Bowls:

BCS Championship: #2 Alabama vs. #1 Nebraska
Orange: #3 Virginia Tech vs. #11 WVU
Fiesta: #5 TCU vs. #8 Oklahoma
Cotton: #18 Auburn vs. Colorado
Sugar: #6 Notre Dame vs. #7 Ohio State
Rose: #4 Penn State vs. #9 USC
Champs Sports: North Carolina vs. #22 Wisconsin
Chick-fil-A: #21 LSU vs. #13 FSU

Nothing really changed atop the polls. Tennessee's HB won the Heisman.

They did, I just didn't post them here since they can't get on the boards. I don't remember who they are playing though.

yeh, when I played my game last night I saw.

Well, TCU got ABUSED by OU last night. The stats do not really tell the true story as TCU passes for over 450 yard while holding OU to under 370, BUT it was the 2 INTs for TD against TCU. It was the 3 TDs on 5 plays in the 1st quarter. It was the broke tackles by the HBs, WRs, TEs, AND QB.

TCU gets a crucial fumble recovery returned for a TD midway through the 3rd quarter to put them up 10. BUT WAIT, there was a review by the booth. The fumble was overturned, and OU scores on the next play, a 14 points swing, from TCU being up 10 to now being down 4. TCU nice and calmly starts to pass their way down field. After a first down with 15 seconds left in the 3rd, instead of letting the quarter run out, TCU decides to throw 1 more pass just to get over midfield. Well, INT for TD was result pretty much icing the game.

OU had WAY too much speed for TCU.

TCU loses by 20 I think.

VT, WVU (Terps) works nights. He does not have access to the boards. He needs you to AIM him (jbriggsphisig). He says that as long as the game can be started before 8pm eastern, then everything should be good.
