I'm loving how competitive our division is this season. You, Seeit and I make up 3 of the top 7 current power ranking spots. Hopefully my boys can keep battling hard all year and keep up with you guys right til the end.Cnasty wrote:8-2 in our last 10 as the schedule has lightened up a little lately.
The battle for this division title is going to be a fun race all year.
And how about Albany turning the corner on that rebuild and fighting for a playoff spot!
I went 5-1 this sim and still dropped a game in the standings.
Also happy to see 3 Toronto representatives at the ASG. Victor "Nails" Romo (8-3/2.26 ERA/0.98 WHIP) is really making a case for being one of the top pitchers in the game this season. Leonard "Nutso" Roberts (.322/.393/.600, 24 HR, 61 RBI) is doing what he does, hit the ball. And a huge surprise for me was the selection of 22 year old rookie middle reliever Johnny Miller (4-2, 6 SV, 2.27 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, 63.1 IP, 45 hits allowed)
Great first half! Good luck to everyone down the stretch!

Beefsteak is such a stud, definitely wish I didn't deal him away, even though Bader was the anchor of my pen for 4 and a half years. I'm sure after he recovers he'll give you years of elite numbers. This injury, however, softens the blow of trading him away.ReignOnU wrote:Give my CL a 6yr deal... then he goes out and tears his labrum...

Giving up on my MLB team this season. Going to live vicariously through my AAA team for the remainder of the year.

Just looking over the IR list and started to think. I do believe there is a relationship between trainer, injuries, recovery etc. Some have said they don't pay for the personnel, but I fired my trainer that I had to settle with and hired a new guy and the injuries and recoveries have been much nicer.

If there is anything I ever contribute to this league again on the stat-side, I want to start ranking the Top 100 guys and keeping quick tabs on them.DRiccio21 wrote:GeorgesGoons wrote:My scout and OSA has him at 56/29 and 55/28. he wasn't more than a 25 potential when i drafted him i don't think

Since Luna is injured, we'll let you replace him with a pitcher of your choice. We want you to have 3 just like us. Amish folk are nice like that.nick wrote:best record in the AL and 2 people make the all star team from Miami? lol k

Re: 2032 Season - The Junior Year (Ready 1/30)
Observations:
Port Orange turning the corner at 11 games over .500 with guys with marginal ratings having great years. AJ's version of McCarty in Rusty Clay who always found himself on the trade block is 12-1 with a 2.63ERA
Las Vegas showing some staying power at 7 games over .500 and leading the wild card race by Bob Jordan carrying the title of least known possible MVP candidate in the league.
Albany and one of the most under rated GMs in the league Baker sniffing the wild card spot again and doing it with probably the worst pitching staff in the NL but probably the top offense in the NL on the flip side.
Wayne Washington, a former 7th round pick by the Dallas Drillers/Miami Marlins/Boston Minutemen is on pace for back to back 60HR seasons.

Yeah, my pitching staff is horrid! Hoping they can keep us close the 2nd half and my offense can stay on point...Gimme another year or two, and I'll be making noise again.
Re: 2032 Season - The Junior Year (Ready 1/30)
Ramon Villareal has insane stats. in 216 PA he has put the ball into play 201 times. only 2 BB and only 13 Ks
