You need to start cruise control in July next year instead of August
Start cruise control in April usually
...But keep forgetting to turn it off in october

I thought we were friends. :(
Your team isn't built for the long term. Your team will actually help my cyclical argument in about 3-4 seasons. :)

I'm watching Boston closely. He has enormous debt... but if he plays his cards right, he can flip that into a perennial power.
The debt will get out of control, but who cares if he can win 1 or more.

I guess my main point is, Cincy has sustained it, LE is built to sustain it. But Boston definitely has a shelf life that will expire. The dominos will start falling after 2034 when Vandal becomes a free agent or is traded.
I'm confident that he can get to sustainability from where he is. I'm not saying it's easy, but I'm saying it's very possible. He's done a lot of things right. I could go into crazy detail about how to make the finances work from here, but a key thing that you have to remember is that his profit isn't capped. If he starts generating revenue and figures out how to move the expensive pieces for cheap/talented players, that $100m that he's going to be sitting at when the season ends can disappear by the end of 2035.

anyway who understands numbers knows you build for 162 games and whatever happens in 7 happens. I build for 162, I cant control small sample randomness. Maybe this playoffs ill play the "whoa is me" card all chat and maybe I'll win like you

Yup. You're right. The sim processed my lack of faith in my team and felt bad for me. You should try it!

It's really messed up how much better batting talent and depth is than pitching in our league vs real life.

Just as an example:

The best team OBP in MLB last year was the Dodgers at 0.333.

The average team OBP in the NDL AL right now is at 0.336.

i think there are other factors that go into that other than batting vs pitching talent.

I wish he would as I need a finance consultant obviously as I don't see how I can shed the debt unless I have another fire sale in 2-3 years which of course I am trying to avoid with the moves I've made.

Alright, let's do this:

Jaime Cruz = Barry Bonds
Jose Lopez - Mark McGwire(I think Lopez is the low average/big HR guy)
Big Cheese ARod = Well, ARod

Who's the good, but not quite all time GREAT OOTPer wagging his finger at Congress? Pat Johnson, Domingo Valles?
