I think I can safely conclude that the Basketball Monster projections are a bit too high, roughly 15 points per night by my estimation. I track my total and the projection every nigh since I started 3 months ago so I have a decent amount of a sample size from FanDuel and FantasyUp, both are almost exact. My score averages 94.4% of projection on FD and 94.7% on FantasyUp.

Since I posted this that no one cares about lol, it's gone down to 94.3%.

I've hit my projected score once in the last 17 nights I've played, but I'm actually doing well and winning in that timeframe, so it's not really a complaint, but more of an observation.

I have 5 tourney lineups on FD, 2 with AD, he's at 78 points.

1 entry is doing well, in 113th place out of 17k,with Redick yet to start and Leonard in the 3rd quarter, got a chance to finish in the top 100 of the same tourney 2 nights in a row.

Over on FantasyUp, Ibaka is killing an otherwise decent night, could be a loss there.

Yea, having both would be nuts.

I also have Westbrook in 2 other lineups, but the rest of the roster isn't doing so well.

I've cost myself $420 the past 2 days on just $15 worth of bets by just being lazy/not paying attention. Luckily, it's been $420 in winnings though.

On FantasyUp, I play all 50/50s and I always make 1 play on a $5 tourney with max 50 entries. 2 nights ago, I made my 50/50 plays and just forgot about the tourney, and naturally my lineup would have won that contest for $100.

2 nights ago I started playing just large GPPs on FD. I play 1 big tourney with 15 entires at $1 each. It's 5 lineups, so 3 entries with each lineup. Last night, 4 of the 5 lineups hit big, ranging between 20th and 180th ish place out of 17,000 entries. The "problem", I forget to triple up on each lineup, so instead of betting $15, i bet $5. And instead of winning $480, I won $160.

I guess that's not the worst problem to have though.

Still a giant bummer when it happens though. I had that happen with a golf lineup one time and it cost me about $100 just because I thought I clicked submit and didn't

I think I'm the only one left still playing? I may have even outlasted Trendon and Dave.

Last night may have been the worst of my bad beats in the 3 or so months of playing. It started with Justin Hamilton being ruled out, the tweet went out right at 7pm when lineups locked in, so right away we were off to a bad start as I had him in my lineup.

Ended up doing ok, my lineup finished the night early with 257 points and still in the money with a chance to finish in the money after the late games. Wake up this morning to see the last guy to finish in the money on the 50/50 was at 258 points, so I was the 1st man out.

The worst part, probably even worse than Justin Hamilton, the very last thing I did at about 6:57 right before lineups locked, I had Ish Smith locked in to my original lineup and made a last second decision to swap him out for Rodney Hood. Hood scored 11 and Smith scored 29.

To top it all off, I bet the single highest amount I had ever bet up to this point.

I think it's safe to say the moral of the story is when you're relying on and making decisions that revolve around Justin Hamilton, Rodney Hood, and Ish Smith, it's time to step back and evaluate just what the heck you are doing

I made my MLB DFS debut last night, winning on a $3 50/50, finishing 3rd out of 20.

I have Baseball Monster, but most of these names are foreign to me, so i'm really just going off the numbers and that's it. I probably won't get as involved as I did with Hoops, but it'll make MLB a bit more interesting for me this season.

That's the gist of what I read about reading a few articles on Rotogrinders. They mentioned to find the 1 or 2 weakest SPs, and stack hitters on the other team.

I used a couple of Rotogrinders articles/projections to determine hw much each team is projected to score as well as which pitchers are rated highest, and go off of that.

I try to pick SPs going up against teams expected to score the least, and I try to stack 2-3 hitters from the 3 highest run projected teams.

The article didn't get specific on how many guys to stack or what is too many or not enough, but I'm ballparking it at 3 guys.

I tinkered with today's projections on Baseball Monster, I have Grienke and Karns pitching. Then I stacked guys and all 8 of my hitters are from SF, MIL, and OAK.

It's really tough staring at the rain percentages, 70% for Grienke's game. But the good thing is, for now i'm on DraftKings, so you can sub out right up to each game's start time, so that is helpful at the moment.

Speaking of, if you wanna get us in a Masters one, we can do another dual-entry thing and split, just give me a lineup

Posting here since our texts aren't working, I've still yet to call ATT.
