Re: 2015 NCAA OD Y5 Week 12 (3/17)
Shew, that was close. Was not looking forward to coming on here and saying Vandy had just upset Tennessee....

Re: 2015 NCAA OD Y5 Week 12 (3/17)
OSU at OSU is going to be brutal. I may build a special playbook just for that game. And with the recruits I've brought in, combined with looking at a few other things, I'm officially staying at Penn State, I will not take the Oregon job if it opens up.
A few thoughts:
1) Nick's building a very nice team in Lubbock
2) Pengy as well, I kinda hope he stays there, I like how much he's brought that program up and he's built a solid core
3) Texas A&M has some monsters this year. But next year, holy crap is that team going to take a beating in the SEC. Ran is in for a rough season next year, maybe longer if he doesn't recruit well.
4) Tennessee is stacked for years to come

Re: 2015 NCAA OD Y5 Week 12 (3/17)
This must be "almost upset week."
Okie State survives Iowa State at home by a score of 40-33. After ISU took a 1 point lead with :30 seconds to go on a 40 yard FG, Senior WR Ra'shaad Samples takes the KO 8 yards deep in the endzone and weaves his way for a 108 yard TD with 18 seconds remaining. OSU would intercept the last pass of the game to seal a 40-33 win at home.
I was trying to save the replay but the clip didn't start until he was at the 40.

Re: 2015 NCAA OD Y5 Week 12 (3/17)
I mean I've got a couple different playbooks, but one for a single game?

Yes
Ohio State tends to run a lot of "junk" defenses (lots of two down linemen, with LB pass rushers standing up) and I need to have some more power/under center formations to make them pay when they do.

Re: 2015 NCAA OD Y5 Week 12 (3/17)
Not to get anyone panties in a wad, but I think it would be fun to ditch the custom playbooks perhaps. I don't think I've used a non custom one since the 1st week I had this game.
Re: 2015 NCAA OD Y5 Week 12 (3/17)
I don't think I've used a stock playbook since they came out with custom playbooks.

Re: 2015 NCAA OD Y5 Week 12 (3/17)
This is the first season in a very long time that I've used a custom playbook.
But rest assured, it's the same playbook every week... In fact, in every dynasty as well!

Re: 2015 NCAA OD Y5 Week 12 (3/17)
Ive been using the same custom PB since week 1 that the game came out. In fact when it got corrupted last year I actually rebuilt itWasted Memory wrote:This is the first season in a very long time that I've used a custom playbook.

Re: 2015 NCAA OD Y5 Week 12 (3/17)
The "new" playbook is not a "different" playbook. It's the same playbook with two formations taken out and two other ones put into their place.
I hate stock playbooks, too many dumb plays (PA esp) and too many "similar" plays.
