I think it's actually Shel vs NDL :)
Makes my undefeated record that much more impressive.

Before AJ got his new job and bailed on us, I'd say Nick vs AJ, Nick vs Shel and Shel vs AJ tied for 2nd.

Speaking of whiffing on an evaluation...

I dont see how you cant recognize and give credit where credit is due with this kid.
A true freshman months removed from high school playing in a power conference puts up a 26/12 3000 yard passing season with a 145 rating isnt "doing anything note worthy in college".

But you are the Xs and Os guy that shows that us mere peasants aren't worthy of California football :)

The thing with drafting Mariota is we don't know if he will be a bust or not. I think we can all agree that he is probably not going to be a franchise-take-the-team-to-the-Super Bowl kinda guy.

Meanwhile, a guy like Leonard Williams will be that guy. We fucking know he will be good as a rookie and, once he figures out the ins-and-outs of the position (allegedly, he is still very raw which is frightening), he might be legendary. Tampa will take Winston and you can't fault them but the Titans will forever be known as the team that didn't take Williams and Oakland or Washington are going to fucking laugh their asses off because of it.

They weren't potential Top 5 picks, dude. Stay within context here.

How many QB's drafted top 5 have won Super Bowls? That is a good question.

Peyton Manning is the only one that jumps out. Was Eli a top 5? I don't know just know he was part of the trade for Rivers, but I don't know where he was drafted.

He - like Dion Jordan with Miami - were so over-drafted that you're really reaching if you try and compare these two.

Found this. There is a strong correlation to winning/getting to a Super Bowl when you have a 1st round QB.
