IU made the tourney for the third consecutive year. This is surprising considering they lost two top 10 MLB draft picks and their head coach from last year as well as numerous other contributors from last year's team. They started out real slow but got hot at the end of the season. I guess this means that IU is building depth as a baseball program which is pretty good to see.

Canes get a national seed and a nice draw for the regional but havent been to Omaha in a little while.

Canes beat baseball powerhouse Columbia, 20-3 to host a super regional Friday against VCU. I love that FSU and Florida play each other in the super regional. One of them will keep that titleless streak going!

they have had such great breaks. that pod they had with Columbia to win it and now facing VCU (who i think was a 4th seed in their region). just crazy.

They have one of the best offenses in the nation but just have very weird games against subpar teams that anything can happen against VCU.

The game they lost the day before was a true freshman, 3rd start of the year and they get blanked.

Would be nice to see them in Omaha as its been a long while.

So that would be a great reason to go, no? The Light is a great atmosphere and if you haven't been and had a milkshake you are missing out on a nice little South Florida tradition.
