I wish Arsenal would do the same with Serge Gnabry...what's the point on being on loan if the team only gives the player 12 totatl minutes? I mean are places really that hard to come by at West Brom  ?

United asked to bring him back as he was not getting much playing time at BVB and possibly due to injury and form concerns with the remaining players at United

I think it was mutual... sounds like AJ wasn't really putting in the effort that Dortmund wanted either. I really wish the kid would hit the weight room and get focused. Seems like he's pissing away his talent.

Was an awful decision from the get go. AJ chose to leave and not fight for playing time and it backfired. He's 21 now, flashes of talent doesn't get you as far as it did when he was 19. Needs to step it up before he's a Bojan type player on a team like Stoke.

I absolutely agree with you cdub. He seems like he's an 'old' 21 and should have made more strides by now.

I do most my soccer surfing on Reddit these days and someone made a solid point. He had that break out year under moyes, where he and De Gea were the only bright spot. Then he has 3 or 4 countries courting him to play internationally. He's suddenly a wonderkid with all the expectations to be world class, and he's just not made the improvements that people were thinking. Might have gone to his head. Not saying he's over but most of the true world class players have done more at 21(he's 20 but less than month away).

I think there's a maturity factor in there that is holding him back and it could definitely be tied in with all of that.

I like Darmian alot, Rojo has the talent(dude started for ARG), Scheinderlin is great, Hererra is pretty damn good, etc. Just a couple holes to be filled and some team cohesion could get them far. I mean even after this shitfest they are still in the hunt for the title, City and Arsenal can easily slip up

And therein lies the problem

Schneiderlin is the pin that keeps the team together. Without him, Soton hasn't been the same, and neither have we.

Herrera and Mata should both be starting at the #10. Neither one is on a consistent basis.

Mata is soooooo good at the #10, but he's not playing there because we don't have anybody on the right. Martial is sooooo good at striker, but he's not playing there because Rooney (who might finally actually be getting back to form?) is there.

I would love to see us go 433 with Memphis/Martial/Rooney up top, and Herrera/Mata/Schneiderlin behind. But he's too conservative for that.

Typical Arsenal can't get out of their own way. Two goals conceded due to an inability to properly clear the ball out of their defensive third. They go top and have a chance to extend their lead and they just look disinterested and sluggish. Klopp has Wengers number and Arsenal can't handle teams that press them

4 goals in 25 minutes... 2-2. My fiance already can't stand watching Arsenal with me due to the extreme roller coaster ride their games are

LCFC steals it late against Spurs, and Liverpool steals it reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally late against Arsenal

AJ is a bust, should've sold him when we had the chance.

Fellaini is a waste of space, has no touch, can't defend. He's a tall Qtip, and his heading ability is the ONLY positive thing he provides.

Really thought Tottenham - Leicester would end in a draw or with the Spurs taking it. And then good ole Arsenal tugging on my heart strings throughout

If anybody in here (Daniel) needed another reason to hate Cuauhtémoc Blanco....

Two days after taking office, a female mayor, who had vowed to fight corruption, was gunned down inside her own home in front of her family. From the story:
Morelos’s PRD state governor, Graco Ramírez, immediately blamed the murder on Mota’s recent decision to support a controversial policy to bring municipal police under state-level control.

The policy, known as Mando Único – or Single Command, is central to President Enrique Peña Nieto’s policy for tackling corruption within municipal police forces. Local officers in the pay of Guerreros Unidos are believed to have played a key role in the disappearance of the 43 trainee teachers.

Ramírez, who has presidential ambitions, used the murder to justify a state takeover of law enforcement in 15 municipalities, including Temixco and Cuernavaca, where former-footballer-turned-freshly-minted-politician Cuauhtémoc Blanco had recently been sworn in as mayor – and promised to reject the policy.

Blanco’s new cabinet includes the niece of the former teachers’ union leader Elba Esther Gordillo – whose lavish lifestyle of designer clothes and plastic surgeries ended in 2013 with charges of embezzlement and organised crime – and an uncle of the alleged leader of Los Rojos – Santiago Mazari, alias El Carrete – who was recently placed at the top of the state’s list of most wanted kidnappers.

This is the same dirty player who tried to break Cobi Jones' leg by stomping on it while he was laying on the ground

That is huge

1) Ronaldo is going nowhere for another year now

2) Makes it much more likely that United makes a hard push for Diego Simeone

Just means they can't buy. Doesn't mean they can't sell, though they wouldn't likely sell Ronaldo without getting someone to replace him.
