MS Opens Xbox Live servers for cross platform play

In a huge move for cross platform play--meaning PS4 vs. XB1--
Microsoft announced today that they are opening the Xbox Live servers to all Platforms.

We may finally get to play vs. whomever no matter the console type or PC.
Would be a boon for all gamers, but particularly shooter and sports gamers.

It would be incredible to play Madden, COD, FIFA, MLB, etc against anyone.

Rocket league will be a good first game to try this on. Ps4 already can play vs PC. NCAA and the NDL will be kings again when we get our game back and this cross platform happens.

Rocket league is supposed to be one of the first to try it...I would love to see this in all sports games too.
