they're not really fans of winning. People complain about the draft every year, and every eyar I get studs in the later rounds cause I put a little more effort into it. It's why the same teams compete in the playoffs yearly.

Yeah, it's hard to see how anyone could ignore the draft completely and want to be in the league

Nick waffles back and forth every single season on whether the draft matters or not after round 2.

FYI, I have updated the skipped picks to make conducting the draft easier for me when I get to it this afternoon.

I will also update all injuries as is the norm.

Reminder, we will sim normal time tomorrow. It is looking though as I will be running the sim around 5,530 or so.
Still time to get in any last minute exports.

Anyone want to share the secret to the draft with me? Obviously it is too late for this year's, but any help would be appreciated. I just mean what to look for besides the simple ratings that they have. There is so much of a learning curve, I'm trying to shorten it if possible

That doesn't exactly sound like putting a little more effort into it

then come up with a system and stick with it and denote weights to certain stats/ratings. go into excel, weigh out said ratings, form a list, put the list in the game.

I got ya. So I take it this list can actually be imported into the game rather than manually entering the whole thing? Got alot to learn it seems

You can export player ratings or stats and take them into excel.

You can then use that to make your picks in the live draft.

You can manually set the game list for the other rounds this way as well, but doing more than moving your top picks to the top of the in-game list... not sure you need to do more than that.

Good to know.

While I like the scout ratings, sometimes I disagree on what positions should be drafted earlier in the draft.
