Hitting:

1 guy in the top 5 for hit by pitch
2 guys in the top 5 for sacrifice flies

Pitching:

1 guy in the top 5 for losses
1 guy in the top 5 for shutouts...with 1



I don't think we're doing it right.

I'm sure we'll be fine. Seems like we've never really had much of an issue, so we may already have something in place. I've just never thought of this as an issue, so i wasn't sure how we handle it.

Don't sign a comp eligible player until the draft takes place IN THE GAME.

Since we are doing a live draft I guess we need to have a clear cut rule on it. Maybe once the live draft starts officially, Free agent signing stops and all negotiations stop. That would seem like the easiest fix to me rather than having someone block a player in the draft and then there pick gets lost.

This sounds like something that should be voted on.

The only time it's happened before was with Coug and I believe Baker, and the way coug described it is how it went down.

Certainly something that could be reviewed in the winter meetings, but for now I'd say we have to go on precedent. If he signs someone during the draft after he has picked, the pick he made goes to the team he signed the comp from.
