It kinda shows me that his entire premise is a sham, and if he had actually became president, he would have just bowed down and done whatever he was told to do, none of the zany, pretty out there ideas he had.

I don't agree with this at all.

NDL:F is going to support you even though you don't win all the time if you will.

He even said in his speech. This is the real world and what we have to deal with this structure.

What do you want him to say? Get annexed from the Democratic Party and career suicide?

I would put the process and system down more so than calling his entire premise a sham as for one we don't know what he would have done if elected as we can't tell the future and two he knows any votes for him is a win for Trump so he wants the lesser of the 2 evils and his party in the White House.

If he goes on this stage tonight and waivers in the least, Trump wins due to the Sanders voters.

He is the single most important X factor in this election and how his supporters vote.

Just my take though.

if he cares about change, he's the got the platform to call a spade a spade and try to continue to promote this conversation. instead he stepped in line like a good boy. his whole premise is about 'a rigged political system' and he's getting fucked over and putting his thumb up and telling people to vote for the ones who rigged it!

real leaders get faced with these obstacles all the time. the ones who make change are the ones who buck the 'norm' and sacrifice their own success/comfort for the greater good. he's basically doing the exact opposite.

The usual Lebby line, what Bernie did or likely will do shows no vision or leadership. True vision, true leadership would be to stand up to this whole debacle, not to fall in line.



He's also not a true democrat, from my understanding. He was independent just about his entire career and only changed a year ago when he decided to run, so he's not like he has these lifelong ties to the democratic party to think about.
