When you consider what you're getting for the money, it's pretty impressive.

This is what made us decide to make the plunge for the Model S and not wait for the 3.

When we crunched the numbers over the long term for maintenance, gas vs electric, etc it made the decision much easier.

Insurance somehow turned out cheaper as well but I guess it being the safest car on the road helped that.

Delivery set for next week after vacation

Just heard from my DS(delivery specialist) and it arrived today! I am currently in the middle of vacation back in Florida so painful knowing it is sitting there!

This whole process has been so "Tesla".

Electronic updates throughout, pics while on the train, satellite tracking where exactly it's been on the train via transport, Elon sending a card and photo of "joining the family".

My son and wife have named her Electra. Not my first choice but whatever she says goes as she allowed me to get it at this point

Next, tint, paint the garage and epoxy the floor.
