This game is stupid sometimes comment... Jermaine Cooper has vetoed the last year of his contract worth 22 million. Kinda shocked. Emails me asking about an extension. Wants a 1 year deal worth 10.5 million. In the words of nick... lol wut?

It really is just dumb at this point.
This game has been out for how many years and they still don't get some of the basic programming that needs to be fixed.

I agree, its pretty crazy. Scott Wright just turned down his 24 million dollar player option at age 38. Now he will most likely sign a 2-3 year deal that pays him less than that combined. It is pretty silly.

yeah....my main bullet point is that while I enjoy the randomness of '17, having an inkling of a possible sale would have been nice. Might have been able to plan a bit for a possible lower budget

Corey, could you please re-upload these images for my team. I really don't want to have to go through the effort of making a new uni but the generics ones are getting a bit irritating.

I have tried deleting and reuploading the image files multiple times but it never straightens itself out.

My confusion on this is, for like years and years now, I thought we completely took the owner out of the game, so to speak. And all the financials are based solely on the numbers from the previous seasons?

Meaning, I was always under the impression that budgets are set based on the numbers only, having nothing to do with owners.

Is that not correct?

No our owners always had a say even in '15 when we would get emails stating they have increased or decreased our budget.

Now that doesn't mean it doesn't correlate to only the numbers and performance but the email always came from the owner.

Not sure if I said that right but I would say the numbers and performance are still the determining factor but now we have actual individual owner goals and we are seeing teams being sold which didn't happen in '15 and the new owners determining budget.

We used to get emails on '15 from our owner on budget increases and decreases as well. Now it seems more detailed with these goals and teams being sold. We never had teams being sold in '15, only owners that died.

Sheltown is in a much better position that I thought I'd be in as well, though still in the negative. Should be in the positive next season.
