Recommendation:Since I cannot neutralize each and every owner, during the rollover process I will need to manually remove the amounts given or taken away by our owners to get our true cash on hand from the season.

Example: Montreal ended 2045 -$186mil, gave up -$87mil in revenue sharing but his owner gave him...$246million in cash giving him a starting balance of $-28million

There are other examples of teams getting $65million, teams owners taking away millions, and most not receiving or giving anything.

This will be put into affect this upcoming offseason as guys have currently made deals that have affected their finances.

Here is his solution, but I am not sure I agree.

Let me first say, in the real world owners do this all this all the time.

What is the harm/benefit of this being in effect?
I know the quick answer, Montreal received $200+ Mil from his owner, but what impact does this really have?
Is this how Corey's team got out of -$100 Mil a few seasons ago?

Are there other financial areas where adjustments need to be made if you take this money away? Does it have an impact elsewhere?

If we go this route I need 110% guarantee from every single owner than there will be no bitching, complaining, or other comments made when teams dig themselves deeper and deeper into debt.

Also no one complaining that I am stuck with a shitty owner that wont give me money yet shitty team A gets hundreds of millions of dollars just because randomly he has a different owner.

I think we know the answer to those 2 scenarios.

Take away the money the owner adds:

1. If I understand, this is new to '17, so we lived just fine without it before
2. The current way allows teams to get $300m in debt and get out of it at the snap of a finger. Doing away with the money from the owner makes it even more imperative to control your finances within your budgets

No complaint from me while I have been in the shitter of debt. I am slowly turning it around into positive money. Only thing I complained about was the injuries killed me four seasons ago...that problem was fixed with firing my trainer! However, I am fine with whatever we change....

Could we set all owners financial charity or whatever it's called to 5? That way if you earn some cash through goals it's not a ton but you've earned it via success and meeting goals? And if you lose some for missing goals or losing you don't lose a ton??

I mentioned this but Rob and my owner are similar from what I gather, he got $246mil, I got $553k for better financial performance.

I doubt that would help but I'm sure it could be tested.
