In theory yes.

But you are also going to have the teams that have a pretty solid team but zero depth just start tanking when they have 2 or 3 starters go down and won't be able to get to .500 because of it
very few, if any of us, have 'realistic' organizations.

i've bitched for years about guys rostering real minor league systems but in the old game it never mattered. you just found a 20 year old stud, locked him up and threw away the key til his contract was up and for the most part he was going to be penciled in to perform 'roughly' at an expected rate. now he might get hurt and if you can't bring in a AAAA type replacement cause you don't have a minors then you're going to suffer.

in theory, that should lead guys to correcting the behavior i discussed earlier. some guys may refuse to do it and they'll likely be the ones who bitch more when the injuries come.

you should get it into your head now that you could have an incredible team and lose a few studs to injury and have a season completely ruined. it happens all the time but it rarely happens in our league. its going to suck, it might even totally make you change your gameplan about your rebuild or your chase for a ring... but those are the things real GM's have to deal with.
So you’re saying Boston did it right?!?

Nice :)

i only make everyone a SP cause if u change relievers to MR they drop to 20/20. I just use that to help me set up my pen.

I really hope someone drafts Donald McDonald in this years draft. It worked out well for Bri Bry

I'll draft him and trade him to Boston to watch his ratings immediately shoot up and the guy i get in return immediately tank. :|

I agree with the way that is worded and I also think college basketball is more 'fun' than nba. I just don't enjoy it as much. randomness can be fun or it can be frustrating, just depends on your perspective. I like things that are the best. that are so efficient and talented and hard working that they've become the sharpest sword possible and can do so consistently over and over again. in the pro level you see that regularly because the talent level is so close and the margin for error is tiny. In college you essentially see a few superstars dominate a bunch of moderately talented people.

I don't know as much about football as I do hoops, so I can enjoy the college football 'game' more than pro at times (especially as my fantasy football interests lower each year). the issue I have with college is the structure. I find it the most frustrating thing in all of sports. I just wish they had an 8 team playoff and i'd enjoy it a lot more than I do.

Definitely, but he became Godly^2 right after I dealt him. And Powell went from Godly to 1/1000th Godly

Bri Bry was universally godly, Powell was not universally considered a top prospect so let's go easy on the godly there :)
