Pardon my 2010 slang but this is gay as shit. I'll beat you next year so you won't have to worry about realism

Again, just trying to get a discussion going. Not saying it will or even could happen, but just saying if 9 seasons from now and Boston wins 7 or 8 of em and the league is on the brink of folding because it's just lost its luster with part of the reason being unstoppable Boston...we should probably attempt to figure out if that's a potential issue or not. And if it is, deal with it sooner rather than when it's too late.
This would be the only reason, I believe, that I would vote yes.
It goes without saying that he is the team to beat for the unforeseeable future. I have a hard time believing anyone would go full Kevin and quit over it (yes, there was more to it than that. I know), but I guess there are a few guys I could possibly maybe see getting frustrated and saying f it I'm out.

Re: Boston Player Draft
I'm more in favor of kicking out shitty GM's than Boston doing shit. Look at Tampa. From garbage to in playoffs. Wonder why. Hint. The GM.

I am serious as we do have some space takers that kills activity and not even around.

We need to force the Weasel's and Pino's of the NDL to join the league or be banished!!!

Re: Boston Player Draft
Those are the ones we should get rid of. But how many Billy's are out there that are always posting and trying to make his team and the league as a whole better?Cnasty wrote:Interested to hear a criteria model for "kicking out shitty GMs".nick wrote:I'm more in favor of kicking out shitty GM's than Boston doing shit. Re: Boston Player Draft
Only if we can guarantee viable replacements...which I don't think we can.GeorgesGoons wrote:Those are the ones we should get rid of.
Re: Boston Player Draft
We can not guarantee replacements will be good but what we can guarantee are some guys we have ARE bad for the league. I do not understand this mindset. Maybe we get some duds but we already have some. Even if it takes a few tries there are guys out there who want to play and we can find them..... man we got off topicshel311 wrote:Only if we can guarantee viable replacements...which I don't think we can.GeorgesGoons wrote:Those are the ones we should get rid of.

I don't think they're bad, I just think they don't met your everyone's level of expectations.

Re: Boston Player Draft
I'm voting no because I want Marino.
Re: Boston Player Draft
I will speak for myself. I voted NO. As for why my immersion level in the past few months being a bit lower its really just the new job and getting settled in. Just don't quite have the time I used to. I do however export almost every day and still keep up with my team.
Fun alternative to what is being proposed (someone might have suggested it but I didn't read all the posts) is instead of having a Boston draft where we get the player we draft, everyone picks a player and they get deleted

Re: Boston Player Draft
It is not my expectations. If guys don't want to post no problem. When an ace gets hurt for the year in Spring Training (Varela) and is not on the DL (when I looked in July/August) I think it is safe to say that person brings nothing to the table and we should be looking for a replacement. I mean if 10 inactive seasons and 2 years of real time is not enough to deem him not meeting expectations I am not sure what is.Wasted Memory wrote:wdoupis wrote:

Last export - September 26thwdoupis wrote:When an ace gets hurt for the year in Spring Training (Varela) and is not on the DL (when I looked in July/August)

Re: Boston Player Draft
I meant July/Aug of in season whatever that equates to. Basically didn't export all season, maybe once or twice and then has disappeared for 3 weeks again. I am sure his HOF posts were amazing 15 seasons ago but it's time to move on
