That had to be one of the best last 3 minutes of football to watch as a football fan (and not a fan of either team). It was fun! Thought it was over when Brees marched them down with some clutch throws. I started to walk to the bathroom on the 4th down play and had my back to the TV when I heard the announcers and fans go crazy. Watched the reply a couple of times and still don't believe it.

The Music City Miracle and the Auburn FG return for a TD and this are right up there as some of my favorites. The 2 point conversion Osborne called against Miami is another, although wasn't old enough to understand what the hell was going on.

Not close. That was to win the series. This was just a 2nd round playoff game. Both choke jobs but Buckner ftw.

Had it not been for the bullpen we would have never had this epic error.

Although Buckner was forced to shoulder the bulk of the blame, there was plenty of fault to go around. Boston allowed the tying run in the bottom of the eighth inning that forced extra innings, and the bullpen was unable to protect a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the 10th –€“ with no one on base and two outs. Plus, the tying run in the 10th scored on a wild pitch before Buckner’s error.

Silver lining!!!

In my lifetime, LSU has only really loss 1 absolute monster game, the title game vs Bama. And well...that game was over from the get go, never had a chance, so it was much easier to ingest than this one.

After reading the Canada thing it made me realize the last 2 losses for the Shel regime are on crazy, game ending, unthinkable bombs in the LSU game and then NO last night.

You really did piss off the football gods somehow.
