Re: 2059 Season Thread.... Can't Find a Better Mens
I have a SS hitting .160 with a 0.5 WAR... probably mostly due to a 6 ZR already lol
Re: 2059 Season Thread.... Can't Find a Better Mens

Re: 2059 Season Thread.... Can't Find a Better Mens
is pot completely based on D/Power? Why is this dude so low rated but a monster?

with the exception of 30ish games as a 17 yr old, never been below 100 OPS+, yet a like 31 pot :\

Re: 2059 Season Thread.... Can't Find a Better Mens
btw u guys should take note of his age and what league he was in
R - 18
SA - 19
A - 20/21
AA - 22/23
AAA 24+
its simple and effective. if u wanna move a stud up by all means. itll keep the competition the same as well.
I almost wanna put all my 30+ yr old minor leaguers in A/SA and R just to dominate other teams players and ruin their development.

What kind of scout do you have Tools or Ability?
Re: 2059 Season Thread.... Can't Find a Better Mens
well 31 seems about right. He cannot play D in any way and has no power or eye at DH/1B. .280 AVG with .320 OBP seems like something that wouldn't play in the majors at those positions.

End of the line for JJ Taylor, but now getting to see what Kel Sampson can do and John Becker on his way shortly... Always some Spitters I tend to end up following

His ratings still seem fine.DRWebs wrote:End of the line for JJ Taylor
His walk rate and K rate are way high, so I'm certainly not saying you're definitely wrong, but his BABIP is .094.
I think he has a little left in the tank.

In a different situation I would have let him play out the year.shel311 wrote:His ratings still seem fine.DRWebs wrote:End of the line for JJ Taylor

Away for a couple of days to dive into my grad research. Assume the CR wheels have to have fallen off by now.
Nope. Still rollin' strong. And ONE player from The Trade is playing pretty well for me right now, so I'll take it!

Tom Hensley signs a 4 year 39 million dollar extension.
This is a pleasant surprise for me. He was never part of my plans, clearly other guys scouts liked him a lot cause i got a ton of offers for him thru his minor league career but i always thought he'd be a borderline 5th starter. He's come along nicely and deserved this extension for his work over his last 81 starts.
he's probably still only a mid to lower tier rotation starter on a playoff team but we're hoping over the 4 years we resigned him for that he'll help us make a comeback into prominence.
