Re: NCAA 10 Questions
yeah there are certain things you can reassign but not in game...you have to do it and save it to your profile. I was not able to reassign buttons for WR's though and it show up during an online game.mcx79 wrote:can you still re-assign the controller?

Re: NCAA 10 Questions
Two videos from the two games I've played on-line:
Tebow read option TD on AA:
http://beta.easports.com/media/play/video/7067030
Tebow TD pass on Heisman:
http://beta.easports.com/media/play/video/7064485
I do have to say AA is a lot more offense friendly than Heisman that's for sure.

Re: NCAA 10 Questions
i like to think of it less as "guess the play"..and more like "key on an aspect of the offense"
im up to 2 1/2 games now and im loving the game
one of the main reasons is the ability to key on schemes..if I KNOW the offense is gonna pass AND Im willing to give up 5-10 yards a pop (on average) because we're commiting to the pass so much...so be it...same for run plays
I've only played heisman but i can already peopel with bitch about bouncing....but...(though ive only played 2 games)....you can DEFINITELY take it away if you commit to it..it may leave the inside open or the weakside but fuck...thats football...figure out the tendancies...play conservative until you have to, or decide to make a play then you take bigger risks
anyway, again, im loving the game...loving it on AA.
Animations/graphics are sick.
Its funny because THIS is the game we expected 08 to be....if this would have been 08...it would gotten 10/10 from me. Better late than never I guess.
anyway..its not perfect by any means...im sure the girlies will find something to cry about (pressure when someone blitzes is nasty)...but..for everything ive seen..including the blitzes..there is a counter (quick slants/passes work well)..thats all i ask for
bring on season 16!!!

So you have to commit to it pre-play?
instead of right at the snap?

yeah..its pre-play...either pass, run right, run left or run middle...as nole said its risky but can be effective

Re: NCAA 10 Questions
A couple of things I noticed tonight:
For those of you that have played the demo, there are no options to change the camera angle. Prior to snapping the ball on offense, it seems like your closer to the quarterback, or they just moved the camera a little further up (from a higher position).......that is what it feels to me. Pre play camera angle where you see your routes is overhead, which will take time getting used too. The demo has the same views. When you throw the ball, the camera will trail it almost like it is zooming in........but if the defender knocks it down or intercepts it, the camera zooms in quick to the defender and the back of him. Then it returns to the front..........it is pretty fast. It will take time, but overall, the look of the game makes you feel your closer to the action.
Pass rush is there on Heisman, and if you have a decent quarterback with a good rating, he will get that ball in between defenders pretty accurately. But if there is traffic, the player will drop the ball as if the defender stopped him short of completing the catch.....which is pretty nice. Some people will bitch on how the defender did not knock down the pass. But I played with Clemson against Arizona State, East Carolina against Arizona, Western Michigan against Central Michigan..........and all the quarterbacks were accurate with the throws. If your pressured and forced to run or have to hurry the pass, your quarterback will throw an inaccurate pass. The flow of the passing game is nice.........running is still being worked out.
I have not played AA or an online game yet, as I am busy looking at the rosters of each team. I can tell you: North Carolina, Ole Miss, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, Cal, and Florida State with the normal high ranked programs are going to be highly wanted teams. Those teams are stacked. I hate to say it, BigMike will dominate with the best team on the game. Go ahead and crown him........
The mobile quarterback is fast with the option due to the speed and flow of the offense. Out of thirty pitches against the computer, there were two really late ones, nothing to worry about. If the quarterback is pressured and gets into the open, remember the pause when the player gets to the line of scrimmage? It is still there, but much smoother now.
Cheerleaders and referee are the exact same models from 09.........no change. Environments look richer, as the graphics look a little bit enhanced.........or for some of you, you may not see the difference. I do, may be due to the camera angles.
Overall, it is a smooth game offline with the graphics and smoothness of the offense. It seems like you can control the defensive player easier........I like it, as it feels like a different game to me compared to 09. I only saw Cnasty in the room, as he was getting ready to play another player, but no one is online at all.

Re: NCAA 10 Questions
one of the things I have been most impressed with is the smoothness of the game online. it really feels no different than sitting next to a friend and playing them on the same TV.
EA really punked us with the demo. This game is a whole lot better than the one everyone downloaded and has been trying to perfect over the last few weeks. I myself like CNasty played the demo for only a couple snap, dreading the arrival of the game. But when you get into the game, so far it has been a great version of NCAA.

Re: NCAA 10 Questions
Dynasty mode now allows you to purchase "Dynasty Accelerators" which can help you get ahead. They range from a recruiting advisor to buying an extra pipeline state. I don't think I'd spend real money on a dynasty... but EA sure looks like they want to make more money...
