We don't do the school lunch any more ever since Xander was spending $6-7 per day each time we allowed it without realizing. He would get 2 entrees, then go back for these muffis that cost like $1.50, pretty darn funny.

I endorse also stepping it up to almond or cashew butter and jelly once in a while. You can get crunchy in the almond butter (haven't seen it for cashew butter).

It's more expensive, but like eating peanuts vs eating almonds or cashews, it's a whole new ballgame.

I mix in an almond butter time to time. The kids like it.

We do not like sun butter at all though.

PB&J has been a staple of mine since high school. Cant go crunchy though cause it destroys the bread when I try to spread it

I used to eat Peter Pan PB non-stop. Can't eat regular peanut butter now. My go to is Skippy Natural. I can go chunky, but that's only when I'm eating it off of the spoon. Creamy only in sandwiches. Also... grape jelly only. Can't do other flavors.

Creamy Skippy, and PB only no J... Also has to be on Italian bread. Praying my daughter doesn't end up as picky as me

Crunchy PB for sure. Don't really care what brand, but Jif is my favorite.
My son is so damn picky, I cannot get him to even try a PB&J sandwich.

Have you try cookie butter? It is fantastic stuff.
Made from Biscoff cookies.

I'm a pistachio fan. But damn they are expensive as hell! A 3 pound bag costs me $25. I have gone thru 9 pounds so far since being over here and have another 18 pounds on the way.

Fiddyment Farms Pistachio - Fiddy Fire are amazing!

I've had their Chile Lime, would be my second choice, and they had a Jalapeno flavored and a Habanero flavored but both tasted too earthy for me.

Fiddy Fire is amazing (only ones I buy now). They have some heat to them. More than the Jalapeno and Habanero ones for sure

Pistachios are solid but too much work when you just want to grab a couple handfuls and go.
