When did the international guys show up? Usually it's in my mail on OOTP and never saw it this year. Who was the big catch out of the guys declaring for OOTP instead of their countries league?

Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
Bravo who went to Bama. There was also a Russian guy who I think Chicago signed but I think that he sucks but time will tellGeorgesGoons wrote:When did the international guys show up? Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
im guessing season ticket money is how they determine budget. If you look at their ranks, theyre pretty similar.
ST Rank = Season Ticket Money Rank
Budget Rank = Current Budget Rank

the average diff between the ranks is 1.8

Only one thing and one thing only determines budget, and that's previous seasons revenue(minus playoff revenue)

File is uploaded, website updated. New in game date 1/25
Inching closer and closer to reg season, keep signing those FAs
Atlanta signs Alex Serna to a 3 year deal worth 12 million
New Jersey signs Jay Dillard to a 3 year deal worth 28 million... Better keep those PAs below 550!!!!!!
Cisco Ramirez signs a 9 year extension worth 124 million... I know he has one too many TOs in there but I can't fix it until next offseason
Pete Olsen signs a 1 year deal with NJ worth 6.5 million
Matt Olson signs a 3 year deal with Bowie worth 11 million

Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
are u not allowed 2 team options?
Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
2 options total and you have 3 with the Player Opt out. Common mistake, when this happens I just drop one of the TOs at the end since the Player Opt Out was much more of a factor in him agreeing.nick wrote:are u not allowed 2 team options?
Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
i was here when the rule came into place. it was for team options. we didnt have buy out $$ then so ppl used to take advantage of the AI and offer TOs and not pay. I dont get how/why player options would matter when theyre 100% in control of that.
Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
I don't know what led to what but its in our rules that you can only have 2 options. You are free to make a winter poll next offseason. I am not voiding it, just dropping a TO at the end. All is well
Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
Do we have the option of ever using a reliever as an "opener"? I thought I read somewhere that some leagues have that.
Was it something we voted on at some point historically?

Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
def never voted on. couldnt you use use a RP as a starter and put "hook as starter" to max?JayGee wrote:Do we have the option of ever using a reliever as an "opener"? I thought I read somewhere that some leagues have that.

Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
it would prob work better to have an Opener ... and then a Follower... I think if you would use the RP as a starter and try to use the pitch count or hook settings it wouldn't then bring in the correct pitcher after? Not sure tho
Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
Allowing the use of openers is an option you have to enable in the league settings.
Re: 2066 Season Thread... Hakuna Nonaka
I’ve never seen it but I don’t really look around for things unless it comes up. I don’t think this needs a vote, if someone wants to do this then let them. I’ll enable it if guys want to try itNeurotic wrote:Allowing the use of openers is an option you have to enable in the league settings.
