What?

You can retweet about ending gun violence but if someone asks you what your thoughts are on gun violence you'd say you don't have enough info instead of we should end gun violence?

You've officially lost me here.

A retweet is all it takes to say he knows about a complicated issue enough to give an insightful answer?

As a person in the public eye, would you retweet regarding a conflict that you're not versed on?
I know one person you are a big fan of that does this on a daily basis
Do you realize that you're calling Reign on hypocrisy while quite literally displaying the same exact hypocrisy in the other direction?

I'm sure you've bashed Trump once or 100 times for doings things similar to what Kerr just did, as you just pointed out.

You're making up a story to fit your narrative. No one said to Kerr, "Hey can you give us an insightful answer on what exactly we should do with China?"

He was specifically asked whether the Chinese were wrong to pressure the NBA to not voice support for for Hong Kong. THAT was the question.

He said he had no thoughts on that and wasn't well versed to answer THAT question...despite voicing support for HK in tweets just weeks before?

I could understand where you were coming from with your argument yesterday, but to still defend Kerr for not supporting HK based on not having enough info here is just silly at this point.

I'd imagine he does support the people of Hong Kong so he retweeted his support of them. Does that mean he has insightful answers on what should happen with the conflict and what the NBA should do after all this started?

No one is looking for a scholarly submission on it.

Hong Kong to China is probably like BLM to America and Kaep still doesnt have a job in the NFL cause of it.

edit: I know about the situation between HK and China. At its core it's very different. I'm just saying openly supporting it would be like being a NFL'er and openly supporting BLM and seeing your job go poof.

Nothing hypocritical at all. It's highly inaccurate to call me a big fan of Trump and even more so inaccurate to suggest that he has anything to do with the topic. Nothing more than a distraction away from a shitty point that he was trying to make.

Pretty big reach. I get what you're going for, but I think a lot of people really don't understand 1.) how good we have it in the US and 2.) how bad others have it.

Because Canada decided to arrest a Huawei executive to extradite to the US, Canadians are being randomly arrested in China and held.

This is why I leave the door open for the NBA to state that it's a security measure/risk. Chinese government is batshit crazy. This is something that is better judged weeks from now.

Shitty point? All I did was answer your question about would someone in the public eye retweet something they aren’t well versed on. Trump is the easy answer there but I’d say about 50% of political coverage falls there these days.

I am not defending Kerr because I don’t think he did anything at all that needs defending. If his answer did not meet other people’s expectations of what they thought Kerr would say that’s not his problem.

Anyways, I’m moving on from this topic and focusing on all these Zach Lavine will be an all-star articles I am seeing

The question was clear, "As a person in the public eye, would you retweet regarding a conflict that you're not versed on?"

If your basis is that you have the same principles as Trump, then your answer may be relevant, though an highly indirect way of getting there. Otherwise, it has nothing to do with the topic and you're just trying to cover up your shitty point... as I stated. I feel safe in assuming that hold yourself to different standards than what he's shown.

STOP SUCKING ME BACK IN!!!!!!

But my point is not based on principles or any of that. I am saying retweeting something is one thing, anyone can do it. Getting asked a question and having to actually answer insightfully about something that is really complex is much harder and I'd say 99% of the people who retweet anything can't do that.

Again.. no one asked him for an insightful response. 1-2 lines would have sufficed. You know... roughly the length of a tweet, or retweet in his case. Which brings us back to the question above.

#1 picks in the last 20 years with 25 point games in preseason:

Zion 2
Everyone else combined 1

It's just preseason.

It's just preseason.

It's just preseason.

Must temper excitement!

Pels making the playoffs is my NBA hot take this year... feel free to blame me if they fail. I just believe there is a lot of upside in this team.

J. Holiday - Love him as the vet leader/stabilizer
L. Ball - He's improved every season and I think he takes another big step forward. Less Lavar, better Lonzo.
B. Ingram - Looked good down the stretch last year, still young and improving as well.
Z. Williamson - I feel like his floor is Blake Griffin... that's not bad.
D. Favors - Really believe he was held back in Utah with Rudy being the big dog (rightfully so, Rudy is awesome)

N. AW - He looks better than his cousin (SGA) right now. He's confident in everything he's doing on the court.
J. Reddick - Great player to come of the bench and helps Holiday with the vet presence.
J. Okafor - Defense still has work to do and he's putting in the time. Been seeing a lot of his training videos this summer and he's looking sharp. Only 23 and a former #3 overall pick.
J. Hayes - I don't think it happens until next year, but I see a lot of Deandre Jordan in him. Very high level athleticism in a 7' body.

Probably fighting for a 5-6 seed if they were in the East and would probably be set for a 3-5 year run of being that or better. But unfortunately they are in the stacked West, which means they'll likely be fighting the Spurs and Mavs for the 8 spot.

I didn't say he was going to be a bust. I said without a jump shot he is not going to be the second coming as the media would lead you to believe. I believe I said he would make some all star games, but I don't see him being a HOF type player. I think he'll have a Shawn Kemp type career.

We did this same exact thing before where you said you didn't say that, and I quoted you saying that.
