Worst part of our league by far for quite some time and some have only been successful due to it.

The rule is 15 million max and you can't exceed it so there is no penalty. You can't enforce the old tax rule as well as have a hard cap like we do.shel311 wrote:Do we still have the rule if you pay over a certain amount on an IFA, you can't get any the next season?
I don't even know what the rule is any more.
Which is essentially the IFA talent in this league as well.shel311 wrote: We're playing on arcade mode at this point.
This is definitely a big reason why we're always wondering why our draft classes stink. The game balances out how much talent is in the league at a given time. We have so much in IFAs, of course it'll water down the draft classes.Cnasty wrote:Our drafts are watered down as IFAs continually blow up the talent pool in our league
It's legitimately stupid, I hate it. It's one of those that is so broken I'd be 100% ok with Billy overriding the Winter Meetings vote and saying this is absolutely not good for the league. But then again, seems like 28 other guys love it, so what do I know...Cnasty wrote:Injuries don’t force guys hands to ever build/utilize depth
Gotta agree. The quality of talent from IFAs is actually retarded compared to our standard draft.Cnasty wrote:Which is essentially the IFA talent in this league as well.shel311 wrote: We're playing on arcade mode at this point.
FA is is manipulated
Guys wait for IFAs because they are elite compared to our drafts and cheaper
Our drafts are watered down as IFAs continually blow up the talent pool in our league
Trades are worthless as guys only look for blues and not actual details of a player
Injuries don’t force guys hands to ever build/utilize depth
But I’m just complaining, what do I know.
Of the top 20 prospects, it looks like 10 in our league were drafted.TheGobOne wrote:Gotta agree. The quality of talent from IFAs is actually retarded compared to our standard draft.

There was a winter topic because real life went away from the old way and created new guidelinesshel311 wrote:Then the old way is much better IMO.
I feel like almost every Winter Meetings topic we vote on we make the wrong call on

Zero disagreement here from me. Too bad OOTP doesn't have separate PCMs for INT FA/Scouting Discoveries/Draftees/Independent League guys.TheGobOne wrote:Gotta agree. My post was strictly drafted players vs all IFAs. Point still standsDRWebs wrote:Amazing how long we've played this game and people still can't differentiate between Amateur IFAs and Scouting Discoveries
I'm with you here, as Shel pointed out there's hardly been any injuries since we moved to 20 at least. Not sure if it's possible in the settings, but something like greater frequency, lesser intensity would seem appealing to meCnasty wrote:Injuries don’t force guys hands to ever build/utilize depth

Not a glitch. He retired to play football instead. Check his history -> News.
Not sure how he's going to make it at defensive end at 6'1, 190.

People don't know if they want to get rid of the July signing period or scouting discoveries. My point still stands
good points. IFAs are a joke.Cnasty wrote:Which is essentially the IFA talent in this league as well.shel311 wrote: We're playing on arcade mode at this point.
