why not put Pat Jones in LF?

+ ZR (albeit 0.2) in 8 GS and 12 GP.. SMall sample but better than nearly -1 per few games every other position

Or you could DH him and stop wasting time. If you really want to keep digitally embarrassing him in the field then just put him on 1B and move on

Nah, let him keep playing him in positions where defense really matters and let him lose games because of it while we all laugh at how stupidly bad his defensive numbers are.

In real life! Pat Jones would be terrible. He'd be to overwhelmed by his poor defensive play to do much productive at the plate.

quite simply, I have a team of suited for DH hitters that cant field... next year I can likely field a somewhat normal lineup .... this year wasn't going to be anything for me anyways with the disgrace of a pitching staff.. Does anyone really think Jones in LF wouldve improved my record by much? I don't.

He’s your best player and future of the team so if it’s a throw it away season then choose someone else besides that guy to ruin and let him play the position you want him at when you intend on competing.
