I’d guess yes. Someone who went all out for it and went too far financially and then was screwed. I doubt we have had one that has essentially brought back the same team like Edmonton at the moment.

Almost certainly, though I can’t think of an example off the top of my head. Maybe one of George’s or old Seattle where they kinda pushed all in?

Won it against Toronto in 2041, didnt make it in 2042.

Won it against OCD in 2055, didnt make the playoffs in 2056.
