Just snapped on a homeless guy. Threw his beer on elementary school property. Motherfucker could be struggling to breathe and I’d still snap. Made him pick up every can outside and told him if I see him here again I’ll fuck him up.

Feel bad now. But fuck him.

Do you wash it when you're done?

It takes me 2 days to get a 5 o'clock shadow, always curious about the manly man life.
Yes, it has been recommended that you shave it off if you have one and still have to be in contact with folks during this time.
We have a doctor at one of the local hospitals here who has a big ole beard and he is wearing this hat thing that looks like a bee keepers mask because he refuses to shave it off.

Immediately makes me think of Dr. Zelenko (sp?) in New York that claims to have treated 600+ patients with the Hydroxychloroquine and the other 2 things. The guy has a monster beard.

Watching Governor Cuomo press briefings is like being in the Army again with the powerpoint presentations.

No idea what the Army is like, but I have 2 major decks (30+ slides) that end up as part of day long meetings. Not sure how much worse it can get than combining healthcare and finance.

I don't know how you can stay awake during those briefings (same goes for Corey as I am sure he has had a lot of these briefings)

These forums or messing around on my phone. I only present in person once a year. All of the monthly/quarterly is via WebEx. CFO handles the core finance stuff that I provide and I handle forecasting and analytics. My piece is a lot of back and forth conversation about business movement. The rest of the day is sales stuff that I don't care about, pharmacy details that don't concern me or HR/operations items that I've already been involved in and don't have to answer for. That's the one thing I like most about my position, I handle a huge amount of the information across most areas, but the other business owners typically speak on it. I just have to be available if need help explaining their details.

That goes something like this:
Exec: Mike, can you tell us how this will impact the business going forward? Mike?
Me: (waiting a few seconds) Sorry, had to handle a quick call with payroll regarding bonuses. Can you repeat that?

I mean, no one ever wants to interrupt me ensuring they get paid right?

Can't ever decide if that's genius or stupidly obvious. Seems like it shouldn't be able to be both at the same time, yet I feel like it's both at the same time.

If only our president could deliver comments like Andrew Cuomo does when discussing his brother. Couldn't be more different. I imagine a summary of Trump going something like this:
"Robert has the China virus. Found out this morning. He's great. Better than great. Fantastic. Actually the best positive test ever. Not better than mine, but great. Not worried about him. He's healthy. Has some breathing issues and some other stuff, but everything is great. He's going to beat this. Kick it's butt. Probably by Sunday. Maybe Monday. I love Robert. He was a great brother. I always beat him at everything though. But he's a winner just like me."

I'll go with both. A little like Occam's Razor. The stupidly obvious choice is the genius choice.

Hearing Governor Cuomo speak, it's like a dead ringer for Sebastian Maniscalco. Its the only thing I can think about when I hear him speak.

Holy moly at this interview:

The interviewer dude said the US pays more money into the WHO than any other country which is concerning considering.

Basically in the video, the Assistant Director of the WHO won't even acknowledge Taiwan. An interviewer asked him questions, and he just sat there silently, then eventually cut the interview short. So in short, the WHO won't acknowledge or help Taiwan because China tells them not to. Yikes.

But as my Arabic speaking brothers love to say in Iraq, "Inshallah!" (Translates to God Willing). There is nothing I can do so there is no reason to get butt hurt over it. Life goes on, I have my health and my family. What else do I need?
Go file for unemployment.

Yep...because China told them to say that.

I know there's usually a bunch of different factors that I don't remotely know, but I don't get why the US wouldn't threaten pulling funding as long as the WHO is backing China and quite literally not even acknowledging Taiwan.

I am a sole proprietor LLC with zero employees, so from what I have read I don't qualify.
Generally, if you are the sole proprietor of a business, you are not required to pay unemployment insurance tax on yourself. If you do not contribute to your state's unemployment insurance fund, you are not eligible to receive unemployment benefits in the event your business shuts down.
