I believe in taking care of our own first. We don't need an influx of immigration until we can properly handle our homeless and impoverished. We don't need to act as Team America, World Police. If/when we have our house in order, we can deal with helping others. To me, this isn't a political stance, it's common sense.

9141 cases.. 793 deaths.. 8.6% death rate when confirmed.. 9% of currently alive patients in critical.

Sweden is 14th in the world in total deaths (1203) while 21st in the world in total confirms (11 927) and 11th in deaths/1m people

aka they are not doing a good job. If every country had not followed social distancing this would be wayyy fucking worse.

Crowes comes out swinging by calling Shel “guy”, a real classic that in one word says “I’m not even mad right now”. But Shel comes right back with “chief”...he’s not messing around. Everyone knows “chief” is an insult unless you are an actual chief, and Crowes does NOT have a Native American background that I am aware of. Shel is known for his triple post, but this time around he only throws out a double post, obviously conserving his energy for what is looking like a long battle, he immediately follows up “chief” with “pal”. Shit is really getting patronizing now. Crowes is not backing down...he nails shel with a “bless ur heart”. Crowes clearly wants people to see that he doesn’t even care enough about this argument to fully spell the word “your”. Out of nowhere wdoupis jumps into the ring and nails Crowes over the head with a “fella” and immediately follows with a “buddy”. Not sure Crowes can recover from that one. Shockingly, Crowes stumbles back up and throws the “fella” and “buddy” right back into wdoupis’ face. “Get a taste of your own medicine” he says. Nick jumps in to try to change the subject back to covid, reminding everyone that he is the Will Hunting of virology. Can’t wait to see where this one goes next.

There is a headline news article that quotes Mayor DeBlasio that most of these deaths were in long term facilities. Without testing what is the purpose of inflating numbers that cannot be verified? There has to be a motive behind this.

Conspiracy theory forthcoming:
The cities and states get more federal money for healthcare upgrades with the extra deaths?

I would hope that's not the case but can see some logic to it if the numbers line up. Anyone know of a website to follow the money?

so 1.5 million people in nursing homes.. 31% die/year.. seems a tad high but ill go with it.

1.5Mil * 31% = 465 000

so 465 000 people die a year.

465 000 / 365 days = 1273 people/day in the US die in Nursing Homes .. (unlikely)

but anyways.. lets say that happens..

1273 / 51 States = 24 deaths / day in each state.



Has any state been adding as low numbers as 24/day? places are adding hundreds daily....

Maybe thats why theyre not testing.. cause why waste valuable testing kits on something so painfully obvious?



Furthermore.. can you imagine 24 people in nursing homes per state dying each day? That would be national news in a week.
