Golf club 2 was a version ago anyway. They released a Golf Club PGA Tour more recently.

Re: Random Discussions
I may check out the 2019. I've always enjoyed a golf game but like AJ said the EA sports one was getting old with people shooting -20 in one round

Super Genius and (Trying to) Earth Saver Elon Musk's kid was born during a pandemic in 2020 (just a cool space theme year) on May 4th... if this kid isn't the reincarnation of Jesus Christ then im out on any religious talk.

Can't believe you posted this but didn't post the baby's name....
Elon Musk and his musician girlfriend, Grimes, have named their new baby “X AE A-12.” Really.
•X, the unknown variable
•Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence)
•A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent
+
(A=Archangel, my favorite song)
I realize Corey probably posted that in his I Love Tesla thread, but it's a boring thread and I don't go in there...

Want a good twist on a whiskey sour? I've kinda become a chef and bartender since I havent worked in forever.wdoupis wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 4:58 pm Well my 8 month old was playing around with the remote control and somehow he accidentally bought Once Upon a Time in Hollywood on Amazon Prime. Take a cup of honey and 1/3 cup of water. Heat over stove on medium and stir. Keep it on there long enough for both ingredients combine. You can keep it in the fridge for 2 weeks in a jar.
Gold Rush is the name of the drink and is another take on a whiskey sour.
2 oz of bourbon
.75 oz of honey syrup (what you just made)
.75 oz of lemon juice
The recipe calls for it to be shaken, I'm not a fan on this one as it clouds the drink too much for my liking. So I filled a shaker with ice and combined the ingredients and then stirred vigorously for about 30-45 seconds. Strained into a rocks glass with a 2" sphere of ice.

Re: Random Discussions
Tonight I am making Chicago Deep Dish style pizza in my cast iron.
I already finished making my sons who only wanted pepperoni.
This is what I did with mine in a 14" cast iron:
Rubbed butter into pan all the way around and then took some Parmesan Cheese and swirled it around in the pan so it would stick to the butter.
Placed the dough over the pan and worked it downward into the pan and over the edge.
Cooked sweet Italian sausage on the bottom
About 1lb of mozzarella cheese and leveled out
Mushrooms scattered over top of that
Pizza sauce, about 4 to 5 spoon fulls and just drizzled all over
Olive oil drizzle
mozzarella cheese (same as above)
pepperoni slices
mushroom scattered
mozzarella cheese
olive oil
asiago cheese
back at 400 degrees for 30 minutes
let rest for 5-10 minutes and then enjoy

Re: Random Discussions
I'm also making a Maple Old Fashioned tonight.
2 oz 4 Roses Bourbon
1 tsp 2 tsp maple syrup, don't cheap out here
dash of Angostura bitters
Put in a shaker over ice and stir like crazy to get the syrup and bourbon to combine.
Strain to a rocks glass
updated to 2 tsp of maple syrup. gave it a more smooth taste on the back of the tongue

Re: Random Discussions
I have a feeling there is going to be some riots with this Arbery case in Georgia.
At the beginning it was just 2 white guys killing a black jogger.
Now some other information is coming out and I don't see these two guys getting much more than a manslaughter charge. They will claim self defense and they will probably get off on a stand your ground.
Multiple people called the police prior to the 2 guys confronting him because there was a guy trespassing on a construction site.
The father/son called the police as well saying they were going to make a citizen arrest (father was a former police officer).
The notion that he was just jogging is pure BS. If you don't know why I say that all you have to do is look at his shorts. Nobody runs in khaki shorts.

Re: Random Discussions
Given that it wasn't a violent crime and no one was in immediate danger, what they did is just murder IMO.
They followed a guy around with guns out....because he was trespassing. That's absurd.
From what I gather, there were 2 cars following him, and at one point, he turned and run the other way trying to just get away from them. When 2 car and dudes with guns are following you, waiting for you with guns in hand, at some point any rational person is going to make the decision to fight for their life.
Given the video and the shooter's own report, manslaughter would be pretty shitty IMO.

Re: Random Discussions
It's obviously not 1st degree murder. It possibly could fall in line with 2nd degree murder. I think when the trial happens they will give the jury the option to downgrade it to manslaughter if they convict them.
I've read that there were some thefts in the neighborhood prior to this.
I just think the false narrative that he was just out jogging by the media stokes the fire of racial bias in cases like this and it's unfortunate. Not everything is racially charged, but the media needs it to be.

Based on the new videos out, it's pretty obvious he wasn't out just for his normal run.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2020 12:50 pm I just think the false narrative that he was just out jogging by the media stokes the fire of racial bias in cases like this and it's unfortunate. There's video of him trespassing on the construction site right before the confrontation, so it does seem that the Dad/son combo were out to confront him over that.
Changes the story some, sure. But for me, they still murdered the dude. You can't be tracking a person down with weapons out then claim self defense when that person tries to protect himself, that just doesn't make any sense.
