To start in RF:

Player A career numbers (162 game average):
.265/19/62, 2.7 WAR
defensive ratings:
10 overall rating in RF
63/59/43 (-0.6 ZR in 10 games)

Player B career numbers (162 game average):
.233/13/37, 0.7 WAR
defensive ratings:
90 overall rating in RF
74/102/82 (16.9 ZR) 1x Gold Glove

Does the lack of defense and a better offense outweigh the lack of offense and a gold glove?

If you continue to play player A in RF if his ratings are 63/59/43 then he should eventually get to around 50ish in RF and be below average but playable. Also would like to know their ratings specifically vs LHP

Who do you think provides a better +/- with their offense/defense I guess is where it lies.

For me, if the splits were for right handed pitchers I'd go with offense over defense because there are far more right handers out there than lefties. Player B is getting roughly 1/3 of his plate appearances from left handed pitchers.

Do you have other power hitters or great contact hitters in your offense?
If so and you don't really need a power hitter, then maybe you need better D, but this is completely your call and what you are looking to do with your team and lineup.

he is a 4th outfielder at best....and he only plays LF. If you haven't seen..I kinda got a pretty good fielder there. He has zero arm so he can't play RF and he doesn't have the range to play CF
