Welcome to the 2081 season thread and to OOTP22. Once again congrats to Smitty for bringing his first title to Bowie.

MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD AND EXPORT FROM THE NEWEST VERSION OF OOTP22

I will sim normal time tomorrow. Arb is split up to 2 sims so no rush but I strongly advise to not wait until last minute to get OOTP22 up and running

The big change in OOTP22 is coaches and it could be very cool if it works properly. I am bringing back coaches but like all major changes I'll give a 1 season notice so coaches will be back IN THE 2082 SEASON.

We will see what else 22 brings us but that is the main news for now. Good luck to all and lets have a great 2081.

For the guys that are trying to import OOTP21 game into OOTP22, why?

Install OOTP22
Go to the Export Tracker and download Billy's latest file.
Now navigate to Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 22\saved_games
Create an NDL.lg folder in here.
Now unzip the ndl.zip from the export tracker into this folder.
Now, manually create a settings folder
Place the accountsdata_gms file from your ootp21 settings folder into this new ootp22 settings folder.
Start up the game, choose load game
NDL should be in your list of available leagues.
Pick yourself from the list, input your password and you are now setup.
Takes 5-10 minutes and you are up and running.

I always thought he had the pitches and stamina to be a starter (esp considering Huang is godly with a shit 3rd pitch). But his role said bullpen and that's what he wanted so I just left it. He might stay there tbh but he's a pretty good SP from comparing around the league.
